The avocado in my rolls was very mushy and the rice was stale. They charged me for extra food I didn't order. Not going back. They used to be good.

Bought some special rolls a couple years ago. I didn’t like what I got. Today I bought a couple special rolls again. They did not taste good. I think this place is charging about 30-40% more than what the food is worth. I’ve paid the same price in Huntington at a different restaurant that was SO much better. The only reason this place is ‘best in town’ is because there’s only 2-3 sushi restaurants in deer park. And they all suck. In short it’s quality to price ratio is out of whack. Not going back here again.

We get there at about 630pm. It was about a half an hour before our order was taken, an additional half an hour for all our drinks to come! The waiter whom looked like pee wee Herman took our order and was very rude to us when he was asked if the drinks were coming ! Also there was a fire alarm in which I thought we were going to evacuate or some burst of fire was going to come flaming through from the back but that didn't happen. It was at least an hour before we got our food! We also noticed that people who were seated after us got their food first, also noticed that take out was getting their food first! The food was good, thankfully I had great company with me, but the service was awful! We also feel they were short staffed! Theee end !

This place is great for lunch since they have deals. A bento box is a good option since it bring plenty of food for a good price. The teriyaki chicken has good flavor. It is grilled perfectly then topped with the teriyaki sauce. The tempura veggies that comes with it has great flavor from the batter. Good

The place is small and cute but dining and pick up is right next to eachother which makes it awkward because I'm sitting next to people waiting for their food. Theres this obnoxious Uber driver or grub hubber lady that walks in ever 15 minutes screaming. They also didn't get my order correct. Sushi rolls good but they cheap with the rice when it comes to bento box. Instead of a giving rice in a Seperate container it looks like they scoop a small spoon of rice on the bento tray.

Went to for lunch the other day. Place is pretty crowded. They have good lunch specials. Small like only 8-10 tables top. I had the sashimi special and told them I didn't want rice so they didn't even put rice in my tuna roll, which I was so grateful for. They gave us extra ginger which I love. I haven't had sushi in such a long time. It was a good experience. The wait staff was attentive. With tax and tip it was under $30 which isn't bad for lunch when you're considering it sushi.
My boyfriend wanted Wendy's then I said burritos so obviously we got sushi We spontaneously chose this spot to try and it was such a great choice. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and given a minute to order we got - 2x Shrimp Tempura Rolls -2x California Rolls -1x Soft Shell Crab Roll -1x Tuna Roll We loved the decor of this place as one piece fans we saw the walls covered in characters from the show

I'm a big sushi eater. And this is the best place in the area. Ive been coming here for years. All the food is great. The staff is great, welcoming and friendly. Prices reasonable. They're always updating the decor. And its very clean.

Update: as a regular here I can't praise them more. The service is always courteous, kind, and welcoming. The food and presentation is excellent. The prices are very reasonable for the area, and the saki is always pouring. Try the rock shrimp, the mountain roll, and the sashimi roll.Great food at a decent price. The sushi & sashimi are always fresh, and the special rolls are great. The staff is always very warn and attentive. Ask for the "Sashimi Roll" it's off menu, but it is great!

Ordered. The food is good, the people are kind, however... It feels as though the workers don't really know how to pack an order... You see, normally a type of sushi roll gets packed in separate boxes. But they put all of the different rolls together in one box.
