Asked the owner for a custom black cake for a birthday. She asked if I wanted any writing on the cake and we finalized what I needed. I call one day prior to confirm and the lady tells me she picked the cake up from somewhere but there is no writing on the cake. My assumption was that they bake in their restaurant, but apparently they pick up cakes from somewhere else and she still wanted to charge me full price even though everything I asked for was not as requested. She eventually took a measley $5 off after I heckled her about it. Cake wasn’t even nice at all and tasted bland. Not worth the time or aggravation. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

I don't really leave reviews but was compelled to so because the taste and quality of the food was so bad. Ordered J*** chicken which tasted like rubber with no flavor. Slice of cake was $6 which was stale and must have been 10 days old. If you are in the Deer Park area try the other Jamaican restaurants in town which are way way better. This place gives Jamaican food a bad name

The food was tasty and it's fairly priced but I ordered a large oxtail that came with four pieces of oxtail and two of them were 90% bone. I'd rather pay a little more and get much more oxtail.

If there was a 0 star that’s what it would be , the people who work there are so rude , I walked in and they looked at me liked I was bothering them and walked away .I went there for beef Patty’s , they just ignored me so I walked out .the waist your time going to that place .

The food was terrible on top of the service, it took a while to get the food done. The food was distasteful, bland and dry. Nothing I'm used to experiencing with Jamaican cuisine, it was completely disappointing. I will never recommend this place to a friend or colleague, nor will I ever patronize this place again. It was a complete culinary scam. Stay away

I'm not coming here anymore. I came here maybe 3-4 times and every time when I walk in they will look me dead in my face and continue to ignore me. They also look miserable themselves. I'm caribbean as well so I know for sure thats not how we conduct ourselves. I wouldn't be surprised if this place eventually closes. Very, very poor customer service which is such a shame, because the food isnt bad at all. Oh well!

HORRIBLE! Management is horrible, you come in to place an order the older lady acts like your bothering her and very unfriendly, they close at 8 call to place an order for pick up at 7 they ask you can you pick it up closer to 5 because they want to go home early- happens every time this wa the 5th time they said that, so why have a business with hours to 8! FinalStraw ordered Rasta pasta - pasta was so over cooked it was shredded pasta and noodles were dry with little to no sauce and the shrimp were not cooked (like cocktail shrimp)I will NEVER go to this restaurant again they make it so hard to support businesses in the area.

The best Jamaican Food on Long Island. The owner takes pride in her food and establishment and it shows. Love it.

I found this spot by an accident. My spot on sunrise hwy was closed today. So I asked Google for a Jamaican spot. This is how I found them. Up and coming spot, in the cut. We loved, loved and loved the oxtails, peas & rice Mac n Cheese. Please try the coconut cake, yummy. It's hard now for everyone due to covid. But I like what I see and have eaten. Service for me was up and over the top. Even the cook came out. Starting a business is not easy, and pleasing the public is not either. Please support our people. Don't complain on here tell them give them the chance to improve. I love them already. The credit card fee is charged by most companies, until they are established. They can not change that, that is the credit card business. This will be my Friday Saturday spot.
