Listen, I don't know about the pastries, the cakes and all that stuff...but I can say they make a delicious bagel. Plain bagel with cream cheese is what I was craving and they did not disappoint. The airy bubbles on the outside of the bagel that make it crisp with the soft and airy inside. With just the right amount of cream cheese that gets warm and melty from the heat of the bagel.
Get bagels there every Sunday and they are usually perfect. Every so often we do get some that are a bit brickish depending on what you get. The pastries I feel have slacked off in the past few years. We use to get donuts every so often and they were always filled with a generous amount. Now it barely has anything and they sometimes have an odd aftertaste.
I've been going to this place on and off for over 5 years. Bagels are good, not great. Need to give larger portions of butter and cream cheese. The thin layer they put on just isn't enough. Service is quick and the staff are nice.
