Verde

At the end of the year there is only one place that sticks out in my mind: Verde! Nothing is as casual and cool as this. As a former pantry prep worker; waiter and manager of restaurants I noticed everything on the menu and on the plate. The drinks and the atmosphere are tops. It is embarrassing that a foodie like myself had no idea that this restaurant has been at this location for about thirty years and I finally am having lunch here nine days before they close for good. When I first walked in, there was a crowded bar with many people eating lunch. We arrived sometime after 1:30pm and the restaurant was still very crowded. Man! After years of having this place bookmarked finally dined here! My regret was not coming sooner! Atmosphere and ambience fantastic. CJ was our waiter and he was great.
