We always knew we wanted a barn wedding, and Stonewall Estate was our dream come true! We started our wedding venue search in October of 2020, and Stonewall Estate felt right in more ways than one. The picturesque views that reminded us of our Italian roots, the stunning barn, the food, the farmhouse, the grounds overall, and of course the team behind it all. We said yes to Stonewall Estate that November, and had our beautiful wedding in June 2022. Although it was the coldest day of the summer, our guests had a blast, raved about the food, and best of all, my husband and I got married on the mountaintop by our cousin, and it was the most special day of our lives thus far.

My Husband and I got married here over the summer and it was an absolute dream come true. It’s even more beautiful in person than it is in pictures. The entire property was gorgeous- the breathtaking barn, the beautiful mountain view, the estate house where our wedding party stayed, and the honeymoon suite all just made it a perfect weekend. Not to mention the catering by Stonewall at The Meredith was divine…We got there Friday and got settled into the house. The huge fireplace, high ceilings, and beautiful kitchen we saw when we first walked in literally made our jaws drop in awe. The house was a great place with so many rooms for family and friends. The room where I got ready with my bridesmaids and mother was spacious, bright, and comfortable. There was plenty of space for makeup artist too. There’s even a nice big area where the guys got ready with a pool table, couch, TV, and mini fridge. The lighting in the entire house made for great pictures. We had the rehearsal dinner there too and it was set up, worked, and cleaned up by staff.The Ceremony took place outside and had that iconic view in the background. The arbor, seating, and all the decor was stunning. We were a bit worried about the weather being that it was outside but Louann had a backup plan and we felt prepared for anything. Luckily the weather held out for the ceremony, pictures, and right up until everyone was in the barn for the reception.The barn was unbelievable. You almost forget that it’s even a barn— it looked like it was right out of a movie with the big beams and chandeliers. All of the food by Stonewall at the Meredith was delicious and everyone still talks about it— especially the peach salad (appetizer) and the beef short rib (entree). The other meal options were great too. After leaving the reception through a tunnel of sparklers, we lit a big bonfire outside to wind down the night with our family and friends that were staying at the estate. My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon suite so that we could have some privacy and enjoy the rest of our first night as Husband and Wife.I would be remiss not to give a nod to Louann for coordinating and collaborating our big day. Leading up to our wedding, she worked closely with us for months to make sure every detail was perfect and she was there the entire weekend to make sure the vision came to life. Thank you so much Louann.I highly recommend Stonewall Estate as your wedding venue. It was perfect for us, and hope that you can experience how wonderful it is too.

Our wedding experience at Stonewall Estate was unimaginably perfect.We started our wedding planning process in December of 2020 and had an incredibly difficult time finding an upstate New York restored barn venue with modern/luxury amenities, but also with people we wanted to work with for the next two years. After our first phone call with Louann, I knew Stonewall Estate was it without even seeing the venue. It is impossible to recount all the ways Louann and her team went above and beyond for us but they made sure we had every single thing we wanted or even thought about (for example - Louann literally had the fire sprinklers moved so we could drape the ceilings!).I am a type A planner and Louann went through every single meticulous detail with us for countless hours over video chats, emails, text messages, phone calls, and even in person visits when we could make it upstate. Not once did Louann make us feel like we were just one wedding on her long list of weddings she was planning that year. Throughout the planning process our friends and family were blown away with Stonewall’s team and their attention to detail and commitment to their clients (and that was just from planning!). Once the wedding weekend came, it truly is impossible to put into words how perfectly everything went. Of course, there were probably 100 things that went wrong behind the scenes, but not once did my husband or I feel any anxiety or stress over plans.It goes without saying that the venue itself is beautiful, but the two homes on the property (for the couple and bridal party/family) were unbelievable. It was so special having our friends and family stay with us for the weekend and the Stonewall team keeps the homes immaculate. The bridal and groom suites in the home were perfectly designed for getting ready and our friends had the best time enjoying the grounds for the weekend.Louann, Maria and the team will forever hold a special place in our hearts. They became family and we hope to share even more life events with them in the future! We are so beyond thankful for everything they did for us and truly cannot recommend Stonewall enough.

Friday night at the Meredith set the tone for the celebration, Saturday's wedding was everything the bride and groom expected and more. And brunch at the house was the cherry on top!Louann is a consummate professional, smart problem solver, always patient and calm while managing strong opinions. Note: this review is only for their catering, as we hired them to cater our wedding off-site. Their grounds were LOVELY when we visited for our tasting but we can't speak to the estate overall as an event venue!Louann was SO wonderful to work with, especially with all the uncertainties of planning a wedding during covid. She was professional and you could tell she knew exactly what she was doing every step of the way. We had no trouble putting our faith and trust in her, in helping us plan the catering. She even came through with a solution when we realized our venue didn’t have a bar and couldn’t find one to rent anywhere, which was a huge source of stress for us. (Oh and yes – the food is delicious and beautifully presented!!) We heard from our venue too that they were very impressed with how well the catering staff left the venue, too – so you literally don’t have to worry about a thing. They’re awesome. If you’re looking for high quality food with professional, reliable staff – you can’t go wrong here.
