Really glad to have Empire Wok so close to home here in Delmar. I'm in Glenmont but it's only 5 minutes away. The food is delicious and the service was very friendly to me and my girl. We ordered BBQ spare ribs with pork fried rice and chicken wings with pork fried rice (no veggies). Both were fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. I used to order Chinese food a lot in the Bronx, so it’s great to finally have a place nearby that’s just as good. Definitely recommend!

This used to be my go to spot but the quality has gone way down. The rice has no flavor and is mushy, anytime I order wings and ask for extra crunchy I find them wet and just barely fried. Wish they did better. Miss eating their flavorful food.

Just moved to this area and wanted some vegan Chinese. I was excited to find this place! They have a whole separate menu for vegans. I got the veggie lo mein and the veggie “chicken” hunan style. I am not big on fake meat, but this was tasty! I haven’t had lo mein in so long, and was glad to be able to get it.

Ordered twice in the last month and got the lunch special. Each time in the sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken there were at least two pieces of chicken that were over cooked and crispy to the point they were inedible. The rice and egg roll was fine but the quality of the chicken is lacking. Staff needs to pick out the burnt and overcooked pieces and not include them in meals. Not sure if I’ll be back.

The sesame chicken was hard as a rock and overcooked the place has potential could use sprucing up the entrance but it’s just ordinary nothing special had better very bland not a fan of this place !!
This would have been our second experience, as our first time was great. I walked in to place an order and one of the cooks sneezed directly on the food he was cooking and then proceeded to smile and throw more food in the wok without washing his hands, at the very least. Absolutely the grossest thing I have seen in any food place.
