It's pricey for breakfast food. 2 waffles, 2 pancakes, bacon, sausage, iced tea, beignets came to $47. Check is given when food is brought to the table which is fine but couldn't get anyone to bring take home containers.
There is no better place in the neighborhood for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. They have an everchanging variety of tasty entrees for breakfast and lunch, an excellent chef, friendly service, and live music (solo pianist who respects classics and plays really well at perfect listening volume) Thursday through Sunday. I'm always happy to eat there.
I'm biased of course, this is a restaurant in Delmar. The greatest name of all time. I really enjoyed the pumpkin spice waffle with fancy butter. And my wife loved the breakfast burrito, she was sad she couldn't finish it because it was so tasty.
