We are regular visitors to Perla and especially enjoy their happy hour menus. We considered going on Valentine's day and checked the web site to see if the happy hour menus would still be available, which, according to the website, it was. To our dismay when we arrived we found out it was not. There were other couples that said the same. The couple next to us actually called and asked. They were told the happy hour menu was available. Some just left when they found out. You could say it was a last minute decision, but the menu buttons were removed from the POS devices which takes planning and forethought. I'm pretty disappointed in an organization that I thought treated it's customers better than that.

Our waitress Izzy was amazing but we had to wait 2 1/2 hours for our food and my wife’s filet was raw and my fries were super soggy and greasy. Would not recommend eating here until they figure out a better system. They share the kitchen with the main dining area and don’t give the appropriate attention to all areas.

Had a reservation for NYE today. They called late last night yesterday to tell me they are changing things and we would now each have to buy a $69 ticket at the door and wouldn't be guaranteed seating. This was not the the evening I had planned and it's really crappy to do this to your guests last minute. Any other place is booked. Very disappointed!
Food was ok... But honestly not worth the price. Seems like service is definitely an opportunity for this restaurant based on other reviews and we absolutely agree. We were seated quickly - it wasn't too busy. A female hostess(manager?) Took our drink order. However it went down hill from there. Took forever for round 1 drinks to come. When they did come... Our male server took our orders for apps only. Apps took a good 40 mins to arrive. It took him about a good 30-35 mins to acknowledge we had no drinks. When the apps came... We ordered our food ( we werent asked, but we ordered given the slow service). $175 for 2 apps, 2 rounds and pizzas is robbery for the lack of service. I doubt we'll be back as it wasn't busy at all.

Four of us had a reservation for 7:00pm on 12/06/24, we were seated immediately and server came with menus. We ordered drinks and then our meals shortly afyer. We received our meals at 8:30 pm, order was 3 Tuna Tacos, Fig & Prosciutto Pizza, 2 BangBang Shrimp Tacos and Salmon.
When asked a few times what's taking so long, server said the kitchen is behind. I counted 46 people in the restaurant. If your kitchen is behind with 46 people ( restaurant could seat twice as much), maybe get some more help or better chef's.
When we finally received our food it was hot and tasted fine. Bill per couple was about $90.00, noise level was not to bad.
If you don't care about how long you want to sit and wait, then go.

Outrageously priced food for the value and taste. Lobster roll was very skimpy on the meat and overall very bland. Fish tacos had no seasoning on the fish and the fried wanton "taco" shell was saturated with fry oil and stale. Crab was the most expensive and not worth it. It's a nice enough setting and wait staff; but not interested in returning.

Disappointing. Came here for trivia on a Tuesday night and took an hour and a half for tacos which were pretty good. We also ordered a pizza and it was RAW.

I really wanted to love this place but it’s a 2.5 maybe a 3/5 for me.. We were about to be seated at the bar and as the spot was being cleaned for us 4 other people came and sat there- no one intervened instead they seated us elsewhere which kind of annoyed me because i wanted to be seated at the bar. Nonetheless they accommodated us and gave us the happy hour special. Our server came to us a total of 3 times: to get our order, give us our food, and bring the check. We waited almost 40 minutes for her to bring out a mini taco.. even if i wanted to order another glass of wine or some more food i wouldn’t of been able to because no one bothered to come to our table. On the plus side the decor and overall atmosphere was pleasant. Would I go again? probably not. When dining in I prefer my server to come to the table a few times to check in. I expected more but the oysters and shrimp were tasty and fresh.

Got one drink and didn’t see anyone again for 35 minutes. What’s the porpoise of reservation if we don’t even get a server. Awful experience!

It's definitely a cute chic establishment inside the salvatore hotel. Our waiter was kind and attentive. Food and drinks were good. Shrimp and oysters were great. However, several mistakes occurred during my visit. The bartender made my drink wrong despite the waiter asking specifically if I wanted a creamy or not creamy espresso martini. My meal was also incorrect. I ordered the wonton tuna tacos. They are small and I am served only 2. The waiter asked me how I liked them and I stated they were very good, but I wished iit came with more with how small they were. He then realizes I was only served 2 instead of the 3 it should have had. Lastly, we went for girls' night, which includes all night discounts on certain drinks and oysters/shrimp. I ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc but was charged full price for a glass. For a newer restaurant that is gearing towards higher class, I would have expected near zero mistakes.

Our server Evan was phenomenal and the food was fantastic as well. Had the Caesar salad with salmon and beesting pizza. Didn’t care much for the wine selection, but other than that it was perfect!! We will definitely come back the design inside is very pretty

Do not waste your money on the $2 oysters or $1 clams They are sooooo small not worth it. Bartenders are not experienced at all.

Check out Perla for an elevated Seafood Happy Hour experience, offering delicious Halibut and Tuna tacos, a variety of oysters and the freshest jumbo shrimp! Great specialty cocktails and wine specials as well! The atmosphere is lively, the space is bright and very inviting and a wonderful outdoor space when weather permits. You will not be disappointed visiting Perla at anytime, may it be for the Happy Hour or a delicious meal! Enjoy!

Thought I would come out with a friend on ladies night and have a good meal. But no…..Ended up with a brand new bartender (who was the best part of the evening) after two others quit. Ordered chicken wings. Note, we are in Buffalo. The wings came out not done. I mean barely warm and the inner meat was still raw. Disgusting. I have been here on several occasions but I doubt I will come back. The good part is the atmosphere is good and the drinks were ok. Just don’t eat.
