This small Cafe located in a small town has a surprisingly excellent menu. The food was delicious, the server was very friendly and fun to chat with. It was a rustic but almost charming venue. I highly recommend a visit.

This place is such a gem! Fresh baked goods, great coffee and now Tuesday night burgers! It’s only on Tuesday night and WOW! I had the special, their version of a “Big Mac” they made the burger you want to have if big chains had any sense. It’s worth the trip!

A great little place for breakfast or lunch. Had french toast with peaches in brown butter and cream--delicious!! They also have some of the best sausage & gravy I've ever had! Super friendly service. It is small and they are very busy..be prepared to wait on the weekend. Love it ?

Such a hidden gem! We found this Cafe on Find me Gluten Free we were looking for breakfast on our way home. There isn't a lot in the area and certainly not gluten free. The reviews said they had gluten free bread so we figured we'd try it. I'm so glad we did! We sat outside on their lovely deck covered in vines providing shade.
Everything we ordered always delicious. They even cooked my kids GF french toast. The kids liked it so much we needed to get a second order. This is definitely a "must stop" location if you are in the area .
Would I drive 4+ hours to come back to Butterfield’s? The answer: yes, for the food and to see Sasquatch the cat!! ? My husband and I stoped by on our way home from visiting the area!! We got to sit in the back patio which was so calm and inviting! Absolutely loved our food and drinks! We also loved getting some greetings from the kitty! The food gives that perfect homemade love-filled feeling like what your momma makes on Sunday! A must try!

Extremely slow service, we waited an hour for one omelette and French toast. French toast tasted good BUT extremely overpriced, I got two thin pieces of toast cut in half for $11. They also have a photo of it with fruit in the photo and I did not get any fruit. Omelette my boyfriend got wasn’t that great, he said it lacked flavor. Overpriced for what we got. The waitress was very nice though and none of this is a dig at her. Not her fault the cooks are slow. We were stopping on the way somewhere and it beats McDonald’s so that’s why 3 stars
