Used the same fork to move the bacon around on the grill to stir my eggs in a bowl. Raw egg and meat cross contamination.

We were looking for a place for lunch on the way to Toronto, we stumbled into Deposit a small cute throw back town. We went to Katie’s. What a pleasant surprise! Katie was cooking and serving. It is like a grandma’s kitchen. I was hesitant to order the chef salad because it was only 3.95$. It was fresh, tasty and abandoned. We had a sandwich, chef’s salad, soup, egg cream and cake. Everything was great, specially the fresh home made cake. We couldn’t not believe how much it cost. We couldn’t get a side salad for that price where we live! The place cute and cozy, costumers were mostly locals for lunch or tea time. We strongly recommend Katie’s.

Strawberry shortcake, apple pie, baked goods that taste the way I remember when my mom whipped cream by hand, peeled apples, baked from scratch and created amazing deserts. Karen, the owner, baker and local legend, is also generous in spirit-- I guess that's why her culinary creations taste so good!
