Breakfast was good.
Had the usual eggs overeasy, home fries, toast and sausage. Fairly priced. My other 1/2 had an omlette. Would stop there again if in the area.

I came in for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. I ordered a western omelette with yellow American cheese an aside of sausage links with hash browns, The Omelette was good, the hash browns were cold hard and greasy the waitress scene I didn't eat them and said how is everything, however I don't lie so my only choices to tell the truth or say nothing, saying nothing would be rude, so I told the truth and the waitress said he just made those fresh I seen what was going on he had already cooked them they were setting off to the side he threw them on the grill at the last minute which didn't help anything and then served them up and said they were fresh they should make them fresh to order, not cook a bunch in advance and then try to blame the customer the sausage links are the best that I ever had I only say this only say this because she offered a second order that I pay extra for, four fresh hash browns, why would I pay extra for fresh ones when I didn't get fresh ones to start with

The diner is great, great food, great staff, but the catering is out of this world! Chef Steve and his crew catered my wedding in the middle of a forest with no running water, and pulled off an elegant and outstanding food experience. Creating a menu with us before hand, able to give us whatever we wanted at a great price. The staff was perfect and our guests raved about the food. I highly recommend Cala's. You can't go wrong.

This past Sunday I came for breakfast/brunch and I was there while the owner was in; this man was berating and belittling his younger female staff (she looked as though she might be crying). I have witnessed this in the past with these younger staff members from this man and I felt like this time I needed to speak up and let the public know about his behavior. How dare a grown man speak to young women like that - he should be ashamed of himself and conduct his business more professionally. The food is great, and the waitresses are terrific; how they work for that man is beyond me. I will not be back, but I hope that the owner see's this review and changes his behavior moving forward - that girl needs to be treated with respect.
