We just spent a wonderful couple of days at Suncliff. Perfect getaway with scenery to die for. Loved the grounds and all of the beautiful handmade wooden benches by the cliffs. Fire pit is cozy and we even got to play volleyball! Staff are wonderful and try their flatbreads! Looking forward to bringing more friends for our next visit! About 1/2 hour from Buffalo!

Brenda and staff at Suncliff are the absolute best!! Their venue is gorgeous with a tree-lined spacious area out back including scenic views overlooking Lake Erie. Every single staff member there is also so friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home.
I am a local photographer in the Derby area and I have photographed weddings, events, and smaller family sessions on their property, both pre-planned and sometimes at the last minute due to inclement weather. I'm always welcomed with open arms and a smile.
Suncliff on the Lake proudly and openly supports other local small businesses every way they can, I've seen it firsthand.
If you are in the area, I highly suggest stopping in for a drink at the bar or for dinner reservations when they are open for the season, or planning a cozy stay in one of their gorgeous suites, or keeping them in mind when planning your wedding or next event. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I just celebrated our wedding at Suncliff, we could not be happier with our experience in wedding reception venue selection. First and foremost, Brenda & Dave were beyond accommodating throughout the entire planning process, truly going above and beyond at every turn. Furthermore, the venue location itself is amazing. It provides a beautiful view over Lake Erie. The mansion itself is gorgeous and very well kept (while still maintaining it's historical significance and authenticity). Our guests were extremely well taken care of. Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere, a good time was had by all. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to plan an event.

We choose Suncliff to host my grandma's Celebration of Life party and we are so glad we did! The food was delicious and they even went out of their way to make cute finger sandwiches and bring out beautiful teacups to go with our tea party theme and secure my grandmas favorite black rasberry ice cream. Brenda was so sweet and patient with me answering all of my questions and helping my decor vision come to life! We had booked the family suite and other relatives booked the rest of hotel out and we were so pleased with the space, tons of room in each suite and rave reviews over the breakfast. It allowed our family to spend the whole evening enjoying the grounds, bonfire, and time together. We opted for a beer and wine bar tab and had the pleasure of getting to know the bar tender who was OUT OF THIS WORLD! She was so sweet and all of our guests loved her. They let us take our time and not once did we feel rushed- everything was on our timeline and was very relaxed.To find a venue that has amazing views, activities for the whole family, and can cater is hard and the prices were unbeatable. If you're looking for a place that actually cares about you and your guests while being charming, homey, and laidback atmosphere with a classic feel Suncliff is for you! On behalf of my entire family, you helped us honor our grandma in the most beautiful way with quality time spent with family all thanks to your quality staff and venue, and we can't say thank you enough!
For anyone curious about specific details for food we got the Chef Salad,baked pasta, pork tenderloin, baked chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus, with black rasberry icecream for dessert. Linens were included and they set up both indoor and outdoor seating for us!

Been coming here for several years when we are on travel. Every time we eat here, the food is absolutely delicious! Had the salmon, smash red potatoes, glazed carrots and house salad and buttered bread. The salmon was moist, tender and cooked to perfection! Loved the seasoning on top.Potatoes and carrots were tender and buttered, full of flavor! Staff is friendly and food was delivered in a timely manner. We ate on the back porch overlooking the beautiful, prestine grounds, and felt the winds off the lake. Perfect summer evening! Our go to place when we are on vacation!

My Husband and I had 22 Guests at Suncliff for our 50th Anniversary Dinner. We had a wonderful dinner of Lasagna. Roast Chicken and Salmon..the Food was Delicious with Sumptiius portions. The salads were delicious too. . We dined on the Veranda with a beautiful View by the Waterfront. We brought a cake..All our guests were very happy. Thank you Suncliff for a perfect Evening

Suncliff is such a beautiful spot to enjoy a delicious meal in the summer and a beautiful building with character inside to host a party or special event. If you have not visited yet, you need to make the drive to experience an unbelievable lakeside gift.
