This was a much better experience than I had the last visit. It was National Wing Day and they happened to have wings on Tuesday and they were big juicy and hit the spot. 20 BBQ and 10 Garlic Parm. The place was rocking and it was a little loud but they had several large groups and I think they kept getting louder to talk over each other.
I will definitely be back for 55 cent wings.

Hours on line are wrong! We drive an hour to eat there and they were closed!

Very nice local bar and grill. The Nautical theme runs through the “bar side” across into the “dining side” that has booths and tables. We stop here on our way to a campground near Fort Niagara and have enjoyed their Beef on Weck sandwiches (which is the only entree we’ve had because we can’t get those sandwiches in the area we live). Excellent, friendly service. Four stars on atmosphere only because the jukebox in the bar was a little loud…minor complaint though.

Stopped briefly for a quick bite. We only had the french fries and they were delicious.

I was there on 21 May 25, I grew up here but live in NC, the patrons and the bar lady were very nice. I was wearing my Iraqi service hate for my brother's and sisters, some who did not make home.
Someone paid for my meal, I did not expect this but want to say thank you and I still gave the bar lady a tip because she gave great service.

This bar is actively degrading the neighborhood.

At first, we tried to be understanding. Occasionally, bar patrons would park in our yard—annoying, but manageable. However, things quickly escalated since Scallywags became The Shore House. We started regularly finding broken glass—beer bottles, wine bottles, and cans—scattered throughout our yard and driveway. It became a safety hazard and a constant cleanup task.

When we brought this to the attention of the owner, we were met with defensiveness and denial. He claimed, “That’s definitely not ours, we don’t carry that,” and dismissed our concerns with, “If you don’t like it, don’t live next to a bar.” Ironically, the same brand of wine was visibly stocked behind the bar. And despite claiming they’re too busy to deal with complaints, some staff seem to have time to loiter and smoke in the parking lot for hours.

Our house has been here since 1940—long before this bar, when our only neighbor was a quiet church. Since confronting the owner, the situation has worsened. Parking in our yard has increased, and we’ve heard from customers that the bar tells them to “just park in the empty lot next door”—which is actually our lawn, now torn up from repeated misuse. It’s not even like parking is scarce, the entire street has open street parking.

When we ask patrons to move their vehicles, we’re threatened with police action for “harassing customers.” A friend of ours was even threatened inside the bar for making a harmless “your mom” joke. The environment feels cliquish and hostile if you’re not part of their inner circle.

We’ve tried patience, diplomacy, and reason. That’s over. If this bar won’t take responsibility, we’ll have to protect our property ourselves. If glass shards don’t damage patrons’ tires first, a tow truck will take care of it.

Food was surprisingly good - nothing outstanding, but it was really good. My coleslaw in particular!

Came in for a late lunch on a weekday, mostly empty except for some sports amateurs sipping a beer at the counter while watching the screens.

Our waitress was very nice and pleasant. Food came within acceptable time (though it wasn’t super fast). Overall clean, quirky atmosphere and bathrooms. Good spot!
