This might be a great place for breakfast but I'll never know. Went there just a few minutes after noon , knowing they close at 2pm and sat down, waited , looked at menu and was informed they are not serving breakfast.I walked out and did not settle for the lunch and dinner menue.BTW, shorty's is right down the road and I got my breakfast and now will drive right by Diane's selecto serve every time.

On vacation on Lake Ontario, we ordered takeout for lunch one day and dined in for breakfast to start our 300 mile trip home. What a great cozy shop. Many local patrons and both the delicious food and kind staff are wonderful. The homemade bread is a real treat. All sandwiches and breakfast platters were yummy!!

I have been to Diane's in Dexter multiple times over the years. Fantastic service , Food , and wait staff. This places is so good it's standing room only , but worth the wait. This old school restaurant knows how to run a restaurant. The food is always great and affordable. The only draw back is it is very small and limited space, well worth the wait .

I love this place! The food is great. The homemade bread is awesome! The service is super friendly and fast. Prices are sooooo reasonable. I just love to stop in here for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime. I had the BLT on homemade bread with onion rings and husband had fish sandwich with Mac and cheese (special).
Diane's is a lovely diner; our plentiful breakfast special was delicious.

We were in this evening to order some takeout. Sat at the bar talking with a man who we assume is the owner. Really nice guy. He made the suggestion that we try the homemade bread in lieu of a bun for our burgers. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The burger itself was delicious and the grilled fresh made bread was just the icing on the cake! I hate that we don’t live here. If we did it would definitely be my go to place for a burger.

I really like this restaurant. Nice little local place where people are friendly and food is good. I make it a point to stop here a couple of times for breakfast whenever I'm in the area. Relaxed atmosphere where you don't feel rushed.
