This is your basic country diner. No frills. Food was decent. Service was pretty minimal (I had breakfast here and had to ask for coffee refills, waitress never stopped by to check in coffee even though I "warned" her when I ordered I'd need a few top offs.).
We are here again for the first time in a long time. The place has changed a little. The decorations are a lot fewer than there used to be, someone removed a ton of the roosters and chicken that used to fill every nook and cranny. The food wasn't terrible. I would have preferred my buffalo chicken salad better if it hadn't been so soggy from the buffalo sauce that was poured over the lettuce with the chicken. It kind of made the salad limp and greasy. What a super little find! We randomly stumbled on Nannette's after a long morning hike and we were certainly happy we did. The service was fast and friendly despite there being only 1 server and several full tables. The food was fresh and filling with good sized portions. We left happy for sure!
