Ralph's Famous Italian Ices

I tried to return a cup of ice cream after accidentally ordering the wrong flavor, and they denied my request to exchange it. Not great customer service IMO... but, okay whatever. If that’s their policy I understand.

I then spoke to the owner about their policy on exchanges very politely. I was not insistent on receiving a refund or exchange, I just wanted to ask if exchanges were possible since the owner happened to be there.

Out of nowhere the manager comes over and starts telling the owner I am a “liar". And said I knew exactly the type of ice cream I was getting even though I had explicitly explained to her I did not know exactly the flavor I was ordering - it was for someone else.

I never asked for a refund or exchange during this entire conversation with the owner. I found it unbelievable to be called a “liar” by the manager. Especially in a situation where I have nothing to gain from lying, lol.

I've been coming to this place for several years with my family, I live right down the block and unfortunately I will never return after this interaction. I've never been treated worse as a customer.

Everyone who grows up on Long Island knows that Ralph's Ices is a staple. All of the locations are excellent, but this one right here takes it to the next level. Recently renovated, super clean and very efficient.

The staff goes above and beyond offering a seemingly endless array of tastings and flavors (Kudos to Maddy for being the best). The drive-thru is so convenient, they offer ice cream & soft serve as well, and they even have a candy bar! Cannot recommend enough.

I ordered green Apple and peach flavor small size. I reccomend water ices if you want something very light. Green apple is a very faint flavor, I could not really taste the flavor in the slush. I'm not too sure if it's the flavor itself of the change in recipe from a few years ago. However, the peach water ice was great! It had little fruit chunks in it.

Seems like this Ralph's has had a major renovation and it has a wonderful look now. Glad to see it is getting more business as well!

Parking: Parking spots in the back of the facility. There are no lines to distinguish parking spots, but there is plenty of room. There is also a drive thru.

love Ralph’s I always order a couple pints and get to choose 3 flavors, this particular time I went to place my order and she said I can only get 2 flavors, I explained to her that I come several times a week and always order 2 pints with 3 flavors she said my boss said no. ??? Really , I said ok then and pulled off she could care less.. I wonder if her boss realized that she cost him not only a 16.00 sale today but an almost 100 a week sale because I won’t be back until there is good customer service. How hard is it to serve ice cream…these young kids have to understand customer service!

This is one of "Best" Ralph's Famous Italian Ice store on Long Island. This location has had a complete makeover. You can now go inside to order or just go thru the drive-thru. There are benches and seating outside. The staff is by far some of the friendliest, especially the 2 boy cousins. Great Job!

Hands down the best location!! Beautiful and inviting inside, owner and staff so friendly and accommodating. The pumpkin pie cream ice...amazing!! Cool Merch, and candy too!

Smelled like urine, enough said. Makes sense why they have a drive thru. They were surprised to see a customer at the front door. Beware health hazard.
