Made a reservation for Mother’s Day and we specifically asked to be sat downstairs. When we arrived we were told we could only sit upstairs with no view (they basically had our family in the coat closet) Glad this is what a deposit and +$300 for brunch gets you ?Even when we told the manager another family was finishing up, he told us the table was “reserved” and was extremely rude to me and my wife. Realize it’s a busy occasion but multiple tables were open and the manager made zero effort to help us. Very disappointing but we walked out and went next store to Hudson Social for way better service & food.I’ve tried to give Half Moon a chance over the years but every time it’s either terrible service or underwhelming food… won’t be back.

One of my highest expectations and one of my worse experiences dinning out in an "upscale" restaurant. Very disappointing. Too many issues to list here but the worse probably the service and one mistake after another charging more in my bill. Hope for good luck if you come here..

Decent food and drinks. Spectacular view.We came on a rainy Saturday and had to wait a few mins for a table of 5. Servers were attentive and our food came quickly. The stars for us were the tapas and ceviche. We would come back just for that and some drinks. We did wish they provided more of each of the tapas.The entrees themselves were good not great. For the prices, I'd expect more but that's typical Westchester.

My family and I have been going to Half Moon to celebrate special occasions for many years. You're paying for a breathtaking view and wonder service but wish the food would match their prices. The food has turned quite bland. Really nothing memorable about it at their high price point. There aren't many vegetarian options and the fish portions are quite small.

You can’t beat the location, the best views. Went for lunch, had the fried calamari (great fry but overcooked), sweet and sour ribs (nicely tender but a bit too much heat), chicken Milanese (fresh and bright), cheesecake was meh, tiramisu was very fresh and flavorful but lacked in presentation. Overall a okay meal but they have done better in the past. Hope this was a one off.
