I always viewed Harper’s as a solid restaurant that had avoided the downfall (in my opinion) of other restaurants in the Westchester area and beyond whose new owners come in and raise the prices and give you less. Sadly, Harper’s has fallen. I ordered my go-to duck dish and was so disappointed that at over $40 came with 3 small duck pieces (slightly undercooked) and with underwhelming couscous at the center. It is an insult to a customer to blatantly presume that a customer will pay these prices because they can afford it and not because it is worth it to come back for more.
I must add the service was so friendly and attentive that, including the company and conversation, made the intimate dinner a pleasure despite the food not being the highlight.

We recently hosted a birthday luncheon for my mom on the back patio. The space was private and beautiful, the food was very good, the servers were attentive and we didn’t feel rushed. Thank you for a great experience!

I ate at Harpers last night. It was the worst dining experience The workers were so rude on the phone and even less polite in person. My salmon was inedible, my friends burger was raw, and my other friends pork chop was uncuttable. Not only was our waiter impolite, he was also unhygienic. He picked a wedgie and continued to use the same hand to pass our food. Above all The prices are insane for the type of service we had. Would never recommend.

HORRIBLE restaurant and experience. Our food was inedible and overpriced for the horrendous quality. The staff were rude and unpleasant. Will not be returning.

My wife and I used to frequent Harper's especially when guests were in town but it's apparently been a couple years since we ate there. Decided to grab a bite. I immediately guessed it had new owners -- the restaurant and menu was the same but different. We started with a Caesar salad with gem lettuce. It was poorly seasoned (no acid or anchovies that I could taste) and definitely just regular poorly torned romaine (which would have been fine except for the slight mischaracterization and the price tag). I had the paparadelle and my wife had the burger asking for it to be prepared medium. My pasta was a fettuccine, not its namesake and way overcooked so that it was clumpy. It tasted okay -- like something I could make at home but it cost me $27. It was also served surrounded by dyed blue orchid petals -- just felt unnecessary and definitely not appetizing. Please stop putting bad flowers on food -- it's like the new curly kale from back in the 80s. My wife's burger was well done, not medium. I did take a bite and thought it had good flavor. So....I really miss the old food at Harper's. It was solid, local and felt fresh. This feels like someone who wants to own a restaurant but doesn't love food. The caveat -- my issue with the old Harper's was the service. The staff was always borderline rude and one of the main reasons we stopped going. Tonight, everyone was so friendly, happy and brought little extra appetizers and offers to bring an after dinner drink on the house. That was nice and definitely worth something. Not sure we'll be back soon but we'll probably give it another shot.

Wonderful brunch experience with our family on the way into the city. Easy to find street parking. Welcoming greeting and friendly, attentive service. Their brunch prix fixe is perfect if you want cocktails. We chose mimosas which were just the right mix of OJ and bubbly. All our food choices were delicious. Definitely recommend and would return when in the area!

So let me begin by saying if you live in the area and haven't visited this place, you're doing a disservice to your existence!
Sorry for being dramatic but hey, shame on you!
I went in tonight looking for a mean classic Old Fashioned. What a woman has to do to find good drink these days!
But to my relief, this place had Toni working behind the bar who served me the perfect, no exaggeration here, Old Fashioned. As much as I loved the notes of the drink, I fell in love with the cherry. Upon asking I was told Sarah, the genius behind not just the cherry but also their cocktail menu, was around. She was kind enough to tell me her recipe for those delectable cherries. Now if you want to know more about those, you have to visit Harper's! I am only giving this review for free, not Sarah's perfectly crafted cherry recipe!
I ordered Harper's Burger for dinner. The burger was splendid to stay the least. The fries were well done as well, they were so good that I had to stuff my insides because I didn't want them to go to waste. Forgive me Father, for I have gluttony-ed!
I also happened to meet the owners tonight. Ajna is a sweetheart. Muki (I hope I am not butchering the name) is incredible. Edi could use some work but he redeemed himself by offering to split with me an Old Fashioned on the house. I've never heard of anyone splitting a drink with me before, and I do not wish to split a drink with an owner of any establishment ever again. But I can't deny that all three of them were very gracious, as were Toni and Sarah.
They have incredible wine tastings on Thursdays. A must visit spot if you want a good drink or just need to decompress. The ambience will definitely help you unwind.
This place is no fluke. Go experience it for yourself!

Great place to have brunch!
My husband and I came for brunch in a Sunday. The service was fantastic, the music was nicely curated with Amy Winehouse, Marvin Gaye, and other similar artists. The food was really good! We had French toast bacon and eggs also the house hamburger with fries, everything was delicious! The elderflower mimosa was sooo good!
Very nice place to go to, either for a date or with family ??
