So let me begin by saying if you live in the area and haven't visited this place, you're doing a disservice to your existence!
Sorry for being dramatic but hey, shame on you!
I went in tonight looking for a mean classic Old Fashioned. What a woman has to do to find good drink these days!
But to my relief, this place had Toni working behind the bar who served me the perfect, no exaggeration here, Old Fashioned. As much as I loved the notes of the drink, I fell in love with the cherry. Upon asking I was told Sarah, the genius behind not just the cherry but also their cocktail menu, was around. She was kind enough to tell me her recipe for those delectable cherries. Now if you want to know more about those, you have to visit Harper's! I am only giving this review for free, not Sarah's perfectly crafted cherry recipe!

I ordered Harper's Burger for dinner. The burger was splendid to stay the least. The fries were well done as well, they were so good that I had to stuff my insides because I didn't want them to go to waste. Forgive me Father, for I have gluttony-ed!

I also happened to meet the owners tonight. Ajna is a sweetheart. Muki (I hope I am not butchering the name) is incredible. Edi could use some work but he redeemed himself by offering to split with me an Old Fashioned on the house. I've never heard of anyone splitting a drink with me before, and I do not wish to split a drink with an owner of any establishment ever again. But I can't deny that all three of them were very gracious, as were Toni and Sarah.

They have incredible wine tastings on Thursdays. A must visit spot if you want a good drink or just need to decompress. The ambience will definitely help you unwind.
This place is no fluke. Go experience it for yourself!

Great place to have brunch!
My husband and I came for brunch in a Sunday. The service was fantastic, the music was nicely curated with Amy Winehouse, Marvin Gaye, and other similar artists. The food was really good! We had French toast bacon and eggs also the house hamburger with fries, everything was delicious! The elderflower mimosa was sooo good!
Very nice place to go to, either for a date or with family ??

Delicious eats with a great outdoor patio. The steak and eggs dish was decent but the meat was overcooked and lost its texture and quality.

The fries were delicious and the chicken sandwich was good.

The house salad was decent. Felt like it was missing something. Type bland.

Service was good. Server was attentive

Drinks were good too. Great spot for small bites, drinks and to hang out in the patio.

Parking can be somewhat of a challenge but feasible.

Always excellent. Sara makes the best craft cocktails in Westchester. Service is lovely and the ambiance is perfect for date night or even just a casual stop in dinner. So reasonably priced!

Love the new changes! Service was amazing. The service went above and beyond and the owner checked on us several times throughout the evening love what they did with the backyard. Space I do not miss.

We went as a family and got several appetizers and 3 mains for 5 people. They were surprisingly aggressive about trying to take our order 3 times in the first 5 minutes we sat down. The appetizers were great (if pricy). The smoked trout is terrific.

For the mains, the steak frites was great! It was a big steak with a lot of fries. The steak was cooked perfectly. The duck breast wasn't great and it was on a scoop of flavorless "Israeli cous cous". The pesto pasta was very oily.

We also had to tell the staff half a dozen times that we were sharing everything family style. They were reluctant to give us big plates, which was challenging.

I felt like the place was very loud inside. I wouldn't remove a star for that, but it was hard for discussion.

Used to be one of our favorites. We went recently and it seemed very off. We didn’t find out until afterwards that it’s under new ownership. It’s a shame it’s lost its charm.

We sat in the back patio of the restaurant but could still hear the live music coming from inside throughout our dinner. Our mains were awesome (chicken + pappardelle) and the service was great, as were our apps and drinks. We received complimentary limoncello + mini apps (olives+ cheeses + salami) that were also a great addition! The back patio was very cutely decorated and very comfortable— overall a great experience

Came here for a Father's Day brunch and had the world's saddest looking French toast (see photo evidence). Everything else was just okay.

This place wreaks of mediocrity. The food, the drinks, the customer service was shockingly bad for how pricey the place is. Also, it was DEAD on a Saturday night compared to other places in Dobbs Ferry. I understand why. Do not recommend.

The place is not very comfortable, the menu prices are very high, actually it didn't impress me at all, we didn't order anything because looking at the price it's not that economical...

First time back since new owners, place looks bright and inviting. We ordered our favorite burger w/ salad.
I noticed a difference with the Kruger cheese didn’t taste as before , I prefer the old leafy greens salad.
Was happy to see the same familiar faces, except that the new owner doesn’t seem friendly , he should try to welcome and at least introduce himself.
We are regular customers and would love for this restaurant to continue to strive !

Arrived on Mother's Day to find the brunch menu had been doubled (in price). Okay, special day special brunch maybe? Nope. Menu was reduced from the normal and doubled plus 5. For that I received "trout dip" which was smeared on one piece of small burnt toast, a dry chicken thigh sandwich that was not seasoned, and two mini prepackaged cannoli's. My partner's 65 dollar piece of french toast was inedible because it was only cooked on one side.We didn't really get the opportunity to talk to anyone because they were obviously understaffed. The whole dining room seemed to have trouble flagging someone down. Food was getting sent back. In retrospect it makes sense when someone other than our waitress dropped off our food and apologized in spite of that particular course being delivered in a timely manner. They probably knew what was going on and likely wasn't on board, or knew what they were delivering was sub par.No one in that dining room was happy. I was saddened at the realization that everyone else seemed to get it at the same time, we been brunch bait-n-switched (Brunch-N-Switch trademark pending). Buyer beware at this establishment, but YYMV. Their dinner service might be fire, we'll never know.To review; understaffed, price gouged, inedible food, friendly but sad staff.Nice place to sit overall, but I wouldn't want to eat there. The new owner must have a contempt for their brunch crowd which I get. Super basic people getting day drunk (which moms should get a day to be turnt if they choose)... But if that's the case, don't be open for that crowd, because I'm going to tell everyone I know to never step foot in this establishment ever having the experience we had.You don't understand, I'm going to start conversations with strangers from now on that begin with "Don't eat at Harper's on Main, lemme tell you why"...
