The food was good as well as the drinks however the service lacked . The waiter was gone for periods of time where we had to ask another waiter to take our order.
Food and drinks were great! The staff was very accommodating!
My friends and I went here as a little group get together and we did a sort of tapas style meal. We got the Brussels sprouts, fries, wings, pretzel bites, burgers and a couple of pitchers of sangria and just hung out as we listened to the live band play music (only on Thursday nights - I think) and watch the sunset. If you are looking for a nice little getaway right next to the Hudson River and easily accessible via public transportation (Dobbs Ferry trainstop is right next to it) this is a great spot to hit up. Would definitely recommend it to others as well as friends.
Food was good! Views great! But the drinks and service were not….look at the lavender drink I ordered. The photo online is purple and the drink clearly is not, it was not good. Told the waiter who did not care at all and just said “yeah it’s supposed to be more purple”
Just a heads up for anyone thinking of coming here - don’t waste your money. I’m including the receipt so people can see what we paid, because the food just didn’t match the price point. The drinks were average in cost and quite delicious, but the service was terrible. I understand it was a busy night, but our waiter barely acknowledged us.
The Mahi Mahi APPETIZER tacos were $20 for just 2 tacos & they were straight-up awful. The fish tasted like it came straight out of the freezer, and it was overall super dry. No sauce at all. The bang bang cauliflower? Super soggy.. The $27 brisket sandwich? NO FLAVOR and the bread was terrible. The only thing we actually liked were the fried pickles… and even those cost as much as a cocktail.
People say, “You’re paying for the view,” but for me, it wasn’t worth it at all. Definitely won’t be going back.
Went for happy hour with good drinks and appetizer specials.
Such a great location that is wasted. Food bland. Service eh. Loud. Not windows to the river. I suppose if you eat outside it might be better, but there is another restaurant that you pass on the way - go there instead
Nice lunch on the waterfront in Dobb's Ferry. The Mediterranean appetizer was very good, as were the fries.
Mothers Day. Food took forever. They had set up folding table away from the restaurant in the parking lot. Not great.
Excellent food and service! The wait staff and hostess were wonderful. They were very accommodating to us and our dog. Outdoor seating and a bowl of water for her. The margaritas and bloody Mary's were delicious. Grilled mahi sandwich hit the spot and the BEC was awesome.

I have eaten here several time before. This time we were inside and there was repeated extremely loud banging, which was so disruptive, all the diners were discussing it. We asked several times for it to stop and were told "Sorry, we can't." It sounded like tables were being disassembled and every 3-4 minutes a tabletop would fall to the floor with a huge bang. Finally, I got up and asked the bartender to do something as it was incredibly disruptive. He said they were preparing for a party upstairs and he was sorry, but it was what it was. All the diners were complaining and when I came back to the table, asking me what I'd been told. Finally my husband went upstairs to see what was going on and it was people blowing up balloons for a kid's birthday party and the balloons kept popping, but they were super loud. The adults were super rude to my husband and basically told him to mind his own business. It made the whole experience incredibly unpleasant and we won't be back. Noise is one thing. But to be treated so dismissively by everyone, it seems clear that our business isn't important.
The location is great and the view is lovely. But we were seated close to the music, so it was very loud and hard to have a conversation. We only ordered and appetizer, which was not very good. Paid extra for an add on that was barely added. Waiter did not fix the issue and had a lame answer when we asked why it was not what we ordered. Hostess seemed clueless when asked about the food and later when asked about paying cash inside. Manager showed up as I was paying and removed the item in question. I was only asking for the extra few dollars to be credited, but he took the whole item off. So he was helpful, but overall, not a great experience.
I made a reservation before 5 pm for 6 pm same night. When i arrived host said I didn't have a reservation and wouldn't seat us. I looked at open table and there were 7 seatings available. There were also empty tables on the patio. The male host said they were full. We left and went to Half Moon.
Good menu with ample portion size. Something for everyone on the menu. My fave is the hummus with pita appetizer. Big enough to be an entre.
We booked tables upstairs for a large party for teenage girls and it was a huge hit. The service was wonderful and attentive and the food was great. Highly recommended and much appreciated.
