Renee made my sister's bachelorette weekend incredibly special with her delicious food and impeccable service.

We hired Renee to prepare two meals for my sister's staycation bachelorette weekend. I worked with her to decide on a menu customized to my sister's favorite foods and cuisines, and we agreed to do a Mediterranean dinner the first night, and an afternoon tea the second evening.

On the day of the event, Renee came to the house early, took a tour of the kitchen, and began prepping right away. She brought all her own ingredients, following our strict kosher dietary guidelines and using the proper utensils from our kitchen (we taped off the meat-specific utensils since both meals were dairy/pescatarian).

Not only was the food delicious--especially Renee's stellar baked goods and desserts--but she and her staff cleaned up as they went along and after each meal, leaving the kitchen cleaner than when she got there! It took the burden off of us to clean up after a house full of 15+ guests, and really allowed us to enjoy the weekend even more.

Renee Kashuba is amazing! After an accident, I had limited use of my arms and hands for two months. Renee provided meals for my family that were healthy, delicious and creative. She was even able to meet the dietary needs of my picky teenager. She really helped us through a challenging time. Now, I’m looking forward to having an event for her cater!!

We hired MadeByRK to cater a glow-in-the-dark themed adult dance party for my 40th birthday, and it was an excellent experience! Renée made everything so easy for us, from the menu planning and site visit to the day-of prep and cleanup. And the food was delicious! She prepared a selection of passed hors d'oeuvres, a buffet of platters and snacks, and a decadent chocolate cake. She arrived at our home four hours before the party to set up and to cook everything fresh right in our kitchen. Something that felt unique about MadeByRK is it was so much more than standard catering. Renée helped us think through details of the party planning, setup, and decorations-- she even made paper craft objects to decorate the buffet table. And the cleanup was impeccable! Her staff (servers and bartender) were friendly, flexible, and great at their jobs. Renée was a pleasure to work with and made our party feel extra special. Highly recommend!!!

Renee's weekly family meal service is a wonderful resource -- a lot of variety, grounded in what's fresh at market, customizable to dietary restrictions and preferences as well as volume, and delivered to your door. Renee herself is warm and easy to reach and work with. I also recommend her one-on-one coaching sessions, where she teaches cooking skills based on your specific needs and interests. Thanks to Renee, I have newfound confidence in the kitchen!

MadeByRk is amazing! We were recently married after several years of postponements due to Covid and the loss of some family members...it was a tough time for us. Throughout it all, Renée was with us every step of the way during all the ups and downs. She was kind, flexible and very supportive. It really is a testament to how much she cares about her clients. Not only did we find an amazing level of service with MadeByRk, but we experienced a true partnership and friendship as well. When the happy day finally arrived, Renée and her team made us feel so comfortable and at ease (even helping calm a mini meltdown with a much needed hug and alleviating any and all Covid concerns). She helped coordinate everything, including seating charts (she even measured the venue to make sure all the tables and chairs would fit), day of stationery, making sure our vibe and theme came through and bespoke food stations with the most pleasant and thoughtful attendants. The food was great, especially the cake and desserts (her buttercream frosted chocolate cake is heavenly and she made these adorable themed cookies just for us). In addition she provided beautiful decorations and flower arrangements, which they set up throughout the whole venue, as well as setting up a lovely champagne toast for us. Then she came back the next day to even help further for all post-event necessities and clean up (including preserving the top of our wedding cake for our anniversary). We can't say enough about her and her team. They made the best day of our life even that much better. Renée and her team have our heartfelt appreciation for everything. Truly one of a kind! Renee helped LifeWay Network host a beautiful and charming Tea Party for our donor friends and staff. The food was excellent and lovingly prepared. In addition, Renee loaned us everything we needed to create an enchanting atmosphere for all. We highly recommend her services for any event large or small, she will deliver in spades!

Before I write the first word I can tell there isn’t enough room to express all my joy at what a pleasure it was to work with Renee and her top notch attention to detail. We live in NC and were planning a wedding at my in-laws historic home in Tarrytown. Renee took care of everything. The decorations and flowers she put together for the ceremony and tables were just gorgeous. We wanted the food to be really special and it truly was. People said it was the best sit down dinner at an event like ours that they had ever had. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Renee also made our wedding cake and an assortment of pastries for dessert. She does it all beautifully - from decorations to food to bridal jitters! I truly believe God’s hand was on my shoulder when I found Renee. I strongly recommend her to you!

Renee makes great food and makes hosting a party easy. For those of use who have an idea of what we want but lack the time and/or event planning skills to pull it off, Renee will work 1-on-1 with you to execute a great party from soup to nuts (or from hors d'oeuvres to desserts!) She will work within your budget and no one will leave hungry. We've used RK twice and each time our guests have been impressed.

Renee made a vegan, gluten-free spice cake for my in-laws with allergies and they were so impressed by the texture and taste! We wouldn’t have even known it was vegan and gluten-free! Also, it keeps really well!
