Food is bland, very typical of these cookie-cutter take out places. Fried rice is a joke. Yellow rice with some pieces of onion and a couple peas. Very little meat (pork, chicken, etc).
Service is abysmal. I’m guessing it’s family run; neither the older woman nor the younger girl have an ounce of personality, like their faces would break if they dared to muster a smile or utter a “hello”.
Sadly, as far as Chinese food goes, they are the only game in town.

I don’t think I’ve ever had “healthy” Chinese food before. The food here is absolutely not greasy. That being said, I have never had flavorless Chinese food before either. The food here is definitely flavorless. I don’t necessarily hate it but it’s not my favorite either.

We order here all the time! We have tried several different Chinese takeout places in the area but nothing beats Bi Kitchen off of Route 22 in Dover Plains! Their sweet and sour sauce is always fresh and their appetizer deals are a great way to have a split-decision choice of appetizers.

My wife and I were visiting Dover Plains when she decided to place a carry out order from this restaurant. As I go in to pick up the order, I see a gentlemen in from of me picking up his order. Once he was done, I approach the counter where I encounter a young girl who just stares at me without uttering a single word. Meanwhile, I am staring back at her expecting some sort of greeting or acknowledgement. When none was forthcoming, I finally say, “I was waiting on you to say something” as she continues to stare at me. I finally say I am here to pick up my order. Once she confirms my order, I ask “are you ok?” She responds “yeah” and gives me the order total. Once she makes my change, she walks back into the kitchen.
I understand finding good help is problematic, but basic customer service skills should be a requirement for anyone in a customer facing role. At least it is in my business.
Without even taking into account the food, I won’t be going back to this business.

No gloves worn by anyone handled money and then to the freezer to take food out.
This is the only Chinese spot I go to! I live two towns over and still will only eat from this place fr!
the only complaint i have is that the fried chicken wings are 90% of the time fried too hard . they look like they may have been reheated several times. when i call in to order my food i ask them for my wings not to be cooked too long . on the receipt is the instructions “not well done”. $7.00 for 4 wings is too much money especially if it’s not cooked right
