Really would love to go in here and be welcomed.Twice now I have had family in town and a day off when they were open.Immediately walk in and feel unwelcome and had to walk out.Trying to support local as much as possible but can’t do so when we are turned down.Living in the area hoping someone takes this place over and turns it around. Love the place from what I have seen but needs serious help!!
Don't let the outside fool you! It's one of the most immaculate, neat, homey, cozy, and charming restaurants I've ever been to in my life. Seriously. I'm glad I let my husband convince me to try it. Tastefully decorated, TV's playing Youtube scenery videos with nice music, a pool table room, a fireplace going. Even a glimpse at the immaculate kitchen shocked me. The food was great. I had a fish fry. Most places give bland fries: theirs was seasoned and so addicting. The burger my husband got tasted quality. For all those people who complained they couldn't get seated because they bring a bunch of people...look around. It's small. It's cozy. It's a small business in an even smaller town, not a big chain that can handle unexpected groups. It's obvious that the couple who own this place care about all the little details that frankly, most restaurants skimp on, so we're giving them more than 5 stars. We're coming back, without a doubt.
Great service, food and staff. Also great prices.

We traveled (4 couples) in for a long weekend. It was our first stop & we thought we would get a nice dinner. Unfortunately, we were turned away. The restaurant was probably not even 25-30% full but the hostess told us that they were unable to take us. We had replied we were not in any rush (so slow food service was not going to upset us. We tried to assure her). She was a bit 'short' with us. I am not sure if she thought we would be unruly or what, as we are not youngsters being in our late 40s and we had not been drinking. We had told her that it was OK that were laid back. She did not seem to care or want our service. It seemed odd. We moved on and ate elsewhere. (Visited March 2022)
The Waitress is very attentive and sweet!! The food was very good they have a little bit of everything on the menu. The Owners are very friendly and make you feel comfortable and at home. Service was excellent definitely recommended! A nice pub & family restaurant!

Great local place. Excellent prices if you're on Dresden this is the place to stop.
Excellent service and food! The Key Lime pie was so good I ordered a second serving to eat there as well as a serving to take home!!
I would not recommend at all- we were a party of 12 and walked in to an EMPTY restaurant. We were told that they weren’t sure if “he” would let them take us. We were willing to split up and eat separately but that still was not ok. I would be shocked to see what would happen if 3 different couples walked in at the same time- would they have been refused? I understand that we did not call in advance but we would have been very patient and separated if needed. They did not want our money and refused. There was a review below though that the restaurant responded to that they don’t take reservations, so with our party of 12- it wouldn’t have mattered because if we tried to call and make a reservation, we couldn’t. We ended up showing up to a restaurant in Penn Yann that had no problem taking us and they were taking care of pretty well... thanks for nothing Cork.. very disappointing.
