This is a very good Chinese place to eat in the area. The food is 95% of the time consistent with quality and taste . The employees are nice and willing to work with you a bit if it’s close to closing time and you want to order still . Overall an amazing place especially being located in a small town where there’s not a whole lot of restaurants . The prices are also very good for the amount of food you get . Go check it out !

This is the freshest, tastiest Chinese food just like the previous comment says “in the Finger Lakes” we happened to be in The cCortland area hitting Tag Sales& Thrifty. My husband is ordering our dinner as I type. We are vegetarian & Love the sesame tofu & Buddhist delight!! Crisp beautiful veggie eggrolls. And our food is still HOT when we get to Ithaca. I just wish they had garlic eggplant!!

Golden City is one of our main stables when we dont feel like cooking but want something filling, the customer services is always friendly and there is never any wait time. Big fan of the spring rolls, and can never go wrong with the house special fried rice with boneless spare ribs and maybe an egg drop soup.

Mid all the way. Food was mediocre and representative of that type of Americanized Chinese where everything is coated in a sugary sauce. Table was sticky. Its obviously not an eat in place even though it says it is. They just gave me it in takeout form even though I asked to eat in and the sign says eat in. If it was like $2 a scoop Chinese itd be fine, but I dropped $30.
This is definitely the best Chinese food you'll find in the finger lakes area. Same family has been running the place since I was born here and I believe they are on the 3rd or 4th generation and going strong I hope this place never goes out of business.
