Great locally made ice cream, lots of choices and great service.
I just love Big Dipper, the owner and crew are the most valuable asset giving you the service 2nd to none. Of course the homemade ice cream keeps me coming back in week after week.

Really good homemade ice cream, friendly staff, and a perfect stop to cool off on a hot summer’s night. They have lots of options, from soft serve, gelato and hard ice cream, to sundaes, milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches & cakes. They make ice cream daily in the back and have been in business for over 50 years. A great stop between Dunkirk and Fredonia, either on your way to - or from - the lake!

Awesome ice cream!!!
We were so looking forward to going here. Finally we were in Dunkirk during their hours so my husband went in. He was behind about 4 people in line. Two people were working and they didn't acknowledge anyone, say we'll be right with you, nothing. They both went in the back and left everyone standing in line. After about 10 minutes he left. Very disappointed ☹️.

If you go to Dunkirk and don’t go here, what are you doing? This is the BEST ice cream in the area! The prices are amazing for the scoop size too! We love going here every year when we come in the summer!
No ice cream pictures because we ate it to fast and forgot. That is when you know it is delicious!
