Came to Spikes as part of the Pub Crawl for Pets event to benefit Sadie's Safe Harbor. I snagged a Cuban sandwich that was made fresh in front of me. Tender pieces of pork, tangy slices of pickle, spicy swath of mustard, and cheese made this the perfect lunch option. I'd definitely go back and try any one of their delicious menu items.

Stopped by for dinner and drinks after getting a recommendation from a local. We were told to order the beef on Weck. Ordered tap Guinness and buffalo wing dip. Guinness was properly poured, wing dip and sandwiches tasted wonderful. If your a fan of horse radish you are in the right place. Environment is a cozy Irish pub, owner and bar tender were very friendly and attentive. Great spot.

Amazing local spot. It is small, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Food is fantastic. Love the eggplant and other veggie option. The Jameson pickle is interesting.

Sandwiches are good. Great first responder hole-in-wall pub. On boardwalk so pizza, seafood, ice cream shops next door to please everyone with variety. Nice outdoor seating weather permitting.

Worst bar I've ever been to. They will definitely discriminate against your sexual orientation. They will kick you out for it and expect you to come back the next night. I've never felt so humiliated in my life. The security will make you feel like s*** and treat you like a peasant. I've never felt so bad in my life. Now, I walk home alone

Terrible experience. The only reason they are “an Irish Pub” is because the lady who owns it sounds Irish (I guess she is). No Guinness on tap, no Irish staples on the food menu, typical American deli fare. Wayyyyy overpriced, three sandwiches which weren’t good costing 50 bucks and the lady is rude. Avoid at all costs unless you’re a drunk and need some alcohol.
