I was one of 5 people at our table and the service and food were amazing. I was very surprised that it was a ghost town in there. I sure hope people start going there so they stay open. People are missing out on a fantastic restaurant with very good food. Do yourself a favor and check them out. I'm sure you're going to find them truly desirable.

I enjoyed my dinner at Carmine's. You normally dont find Braciole on many Italian restaurant menus. It is my favorite dish and often make it myself. Their's was excellent. Their sauce is a bit spicier than I like, but that just a personal taste. I grew up with a sweeter sauce. I enjoyed a generous slice of Spumoni for dessert. Our waiter had some confusion on how many orders of spumoni are table had order, but it all worked out. I will definitely return.

It's a decent Italian restaurant. Typical dining setup. They have a nice bar area and comfortable seating in the front. The outside has an incredible mural on the side... Thats what caught our attention to try our this place! The bread and butter (regular and red pepper olive oil butter) were really good. I love that you can choose a soup or salad with each entree. I got the French onion soup which honestly was SO GOOD! Might be one of my favorites locally. I think it's only in available in one size though - a cup. And the regular price as a la carte is like $8 which feels really steep for the portion size. Anyway, everyone at my table enjoyed their meal. The pasta flight was really good. That tortellini!!! The red sauce, which is usually what an Italian restaurant prides itself on, was pretty bland. My husband enjoyed his veal Marsala, the filet mignon was cooked perfectly. The biggest disappointment was my meal I think. I got the Neptune pasta which was advertised as lobster, shrimp and scallops in a sherry sauce with linguine. Please do not be fooled into this dish. They do not serve lobster at all, they serve langoustines. Which is a very different flavor and should be a different price point. Plus with that sherry sauce, a different noodle...like a parpadelle, would have worked better with the dish. It just wasn't my favorite. I am looking forward to coming back and trying maybe the stuffed eggplant parm or the frutti de mare.

I was excited to try this restaurant out but I feel like my dining experience lacked a little something. My friend and I came on a Thursday evening and there was no wait. On Thursday nights, they have flight night where you get little portions so you can try each option. They had wine flights, pasta flights, and cannoli flights. I didn't care for any of the flavors they offered so I just ordered the chicken parm. With my chicken parm, I got a side of soup. It was a chicken pesto soup with rice. This was probably my favorite thing I ate that night so that was a bummer. My chicken parm was a little soggy, the chicken was not crispy. I also felt that the sauce was a little bland. The cannoli was also okay and was definitely not worth $8. I've had better at Wegmans. Unfortunately, I would not return.

Don't let the outside appearance fool you. The restaurant is super nice inside with a unique bar area. Food was GREAT! I had the tortellini al la carmine and it was out of this world! Is definitely on my map next time we visit the Buffalo area!

We are from Michigan we’re so glad we stopped to eat here. We had the best food! The chicken piccata was so tender it almost melted in your mouth. The meatball flat bread was so fresh tasting. You can tell they use fresh seasonings. Even the side salad was so good. Everything was well seasoned and prepared with care. Our server was so sweet. The atmosphere was calm and it was spacious. Sometimes it can feel like you’re on top for each other at restaurants and that was not the case here.We liked it so much we will remember it and come back!

Sat down and the bread/app plates were dirty (oily with food bits on it). The hostess caught one and swapped it with another table (not sure why he didn't take it in the back to be cleaned). The food was ok. I ordered the penne broccoli chicken meal. I expected it to be more garlicky. The house salad dressing was really good. The island breeze drink was tasty! Service was good, friendly and fast.

Waited over 15 minutes at our table and were never approached. Decided to leave and despite walking by hostess and bartender, no one asked what was wrong or anything. Very disappointing as Carmine’s used to be a really great place to eat!Editing this after reading other reviews and wanted to add a couple things- 1. We were THE ONLY people in the restaurant and 2. One of my children is adopted from China and there seems to be a consensus that Carmine’s does not like minorities.
