My favorite hoagie place.

Wonderful, lol! The steak was virtually nothing on a bed of lettuce tomato onion with mayo. First timer, never to return. Really wish I would have taken a picture.

There should be an option to give zero stars. I came in from out of town and went to the Transit Rd. location. My son changed his order because he was unfamiliar with the menu since he doesn't live in NY. The little old lady at the drive thru window became rude and impatient and basically shoved his order in my face at the window. When we got to our families home, my son started eating his steak hoagie. Not only was it bland and tasteless, but there was a wad of hair in it on the bottom half of the sub under the meat, almost like it was put there intentionally...DISGUSTING!!!!!! I started to return it and complain but an unsatisfactory review will get the point across better. The next day I took him to the Sheridan Dr. location where the guys behind the counter were extremely friendly and professional and the hoagie was seasoned well and tasted very good. Jim's on Transit Rd, please DO BETTER! I'm originally from Bflo, but I hope others that are visiting the area avoid this location. Just go to the Sheridan Dr location, you'll be greeted properly and enjoy a great sub!

Update - hello Jim's Steakout, I just sent you an email per your request with the date and time of this unfortunate situation. Thank you for reaching out.

Food is decent. I mean for me it's an average steak sandwich. But again I'm from NYC so I'm pretty picky with things like this. Not the best I've had but definitely not the worse. What I did notice is that taste varies by location. This location is decent but not the best one I've eaten at. Best thing for me is they're usually pretty quick, in and out if you're using the drive thru. Staff is always friendly and the place seems well kept. Never too crowded and always space to dine in. They also have space to dine outside. I frequently go here.

Unfortunately, we are witnessing the bankruptcy era of Jim's. Just like Mike's and Hoagie Brothers before it, we are living in the last phase of this establishment. Simply put, Jim's no longer offers anything that consumers value. There's barely any steak on it and it comes complete on an untoasted roll and lack of steak sauce. Everything this company used to do great, it refuses to do now. Other places, like hoagie stop, offer 4x the amount of meat, although their steaksauce is a solid 0.0 from me. Hoagiestop has lines out the door, just like Jim's used to. Now the only time they see a line is whatever their employees are sniffing in the stall. Whatever happened to Dave? There's no way this is going on under his watch. Transit rd should be closed down, easily the worst location out of all that remain. Sales are way down company wide vs pre pandemic. So, go enjoy your dry Jim's while you can.

Ordered the whole Jefferson sub with Italian sausage and steak The sausage was so ground up you really did not even taste it and most of the steak on it was all fat. It was not worth 16.30. I do not recommend ordering from this location.

Clean restaurant, good food and services, and great prices! Also, very quick but not sacrificing quality for speed.
