They'll get your order wrong and not be able to refund you the money.... they got everything wrong. My mild chicken finger sub was DROWNING in hot sauce, fries burnt, and cheese curds burnt. And when I called to complain and get my money back they said the didn't know how to do refunds and I'd have to call corporate to ask them if they could. So I had to waste even more time the next day getting my money back because they can't be bothered to train the children that work there.
There's entirely too much competition on Buffalo for this kind of horrible food and service. Jim's might be fine for drunk food at 3am, but no sober person should bother ordering from these people.

Just went through the drive thru, sat there for several minutes, no one said a thing, we had to holler into the speaker to get someones attention. We get home and open up the order that my husband and I were going to split. Ordered 8 chicken strip meal with mild sauce, they usually are loaded with french fries and the fingers are usually huge, these have all been cut smaller, half the chicken fingers were literally the size of 2 of my fingers, its like you started cutting them all in half and what used to be one finger is now 2, and there were maybe 20 french fries. Really? we also asked for mild and none of the chicken had any sauce on them at all. Not only this but your prices have sky rocketed over the last couple years but never said anything because the servings were decent, now you raise the price and drop the amount of the servings also. You have lost a customer. We wont be back. Increase prices and now give crappy service and crappy food.

Just a few days ago I went to another Jim’s steak out location, I ask for the famous steak out, and when I opened the sandwich I was pleased that there seemed to be plenty meat on the sandwich,.. I took a few bites and BAM, IM CRUNCHING IN TO NOTHING BUT LETTUCE AND TOMATOES WITH A SMALL LAYER OF MEAT ON THE SANDWICH.
THEY BUFFED THE SANDWICH WITH EXTRA LETTUCE AND TOMATOES TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE A NICE MEATY SANDWICH :) BOY WAS I WRONG.
So today I come in, ask for light lettuce and tomatoes they did a good job there, however they were also LIGHT on the MEAT AGAIN ! What happened from last year till now!?

No thanks this is a rip off. I cone from a state that has actual to go containers for a large fry. Now i know what she didn't show me the size when I asked because she knew I'd walk away. Over priced and not that good. If I want a fry that size I will just go to MC Donald's . Those prices and portions explains why there was no other customers in the restaurant. Now that I looked at the fries let me add they are skin on (which is why i didn't go to Wendy's) skin on is the cheapest fries you can buy as a business and also disgusting. No one likes dirt fries.

Wonderful, lol! The steak was virtually nothing on a bed of lettuce tomato onion with mayo. First timer, never to return. Really wish I would have taken a picture.
There should be an option to give zero stars. I came in from out of town and went to the Transit Rd. location. My son changed his order because he was unfamiliar with the menu since he doesn't live in NY. The little old lady at the drive thru window became rude and impatient and basically shoved his order in my face at the window. When we got to our families home, my son started eating his steak hoagie. Not only was it bland and tasteless, but there was a wad of hair in it on the bottom half of the sub under the meat, almost like it was put there intentionally...DISGUSTING!!!!!! I started to return it and complain but an unsatisfactory review will get the point across better. The next day I took him to the Sheridan Dr. location where the guys behind the counter were extremely friendly and professional and the hoagie was seasoned well and tasted very good. Jim's on Transit Rd, please DO BETTER! I'm originally from Bflo, but I hope others that are visiting the area avoid this location. Just go to the Sheridan Dr location, you'll be greeted properly and enjoy a great sub!
