Jonny C's is the real deal. Look the menu over before you go, or ask a friend. Otherwise it's like a trip to blockbuster, back in the day, too many choices and you freeze up. The kids behind the counter were helpful and efficient. Ruben is the second best in the Buffalo area, a very close second, if they ever switch to a marble rye I may have to reassess. Pittsburgh hits on all cylinders. Only down side is the overhead of a prime location seems to be driving the price up 16-18 buck a sandwich is a new norm, I doubt I'll ever get comfortable with.

Despite the higher price than most sandwich shops it was definitely worth it. For starters, I would rather pay a little extra if it means superb food and supporting a family-owned business. The corn beef sandwich that I ordered was divine and definitely the satisfying food experience that I was looking for!

There is very little that needs to be said about Johnny C's other than just try it. You will love it. The worst part about their menu is only getting to pick just one item off the menu. The Vader is amazing. One of the best Reubens in town. Unbelievable soups.

This is my 2nd time here. Both times I was SUPER impressed. Staff is friendly, clean and professional. The food is INCREDIBLE and the menu is HUGE. Great decor with photos of NYC. If you have a big appetite you can enter the BIG MOUTH challenge and win a shirt and a spot on their Wall of Fame.The food is prepared very quickly and the restaurant is clean and organized. Great sandwiches, soup, salads and if you have room... DESSERTS! Great gem in Amherst!!

I have ordered from Johnny c’s for years and can say I have never had a salad or sandwich that I didn’t like. It’s hard to decide which sandwich to order but for me it’s always easy to choose the Cobb salad. It’s fresh and this restaurant does not skimp on their ingredients on salads or sandwiches! Definitely worth a visit or a sit down in their dining area.

Jonny C is a fantastic place to get sandwiches. I have been their several times now and haven't been disappointed yet. There chicken parm sub has been my favorite sub so far. I look forward to trying more items from them in the future.Parking: The restaurant is in a plaza so there is a lot of parking however it can get busy in there since there are so many establishments on site.

Kid-friendliness: Jonny Cs is always a go to. Subs of the week never disappoint, and the quality of foodnis always consistly top notch. The staff is friendly and attentive. My kids love subs! And they're always okay with substitutions to accommodate picky eaters. They also leave out togo containers for all the lefts overs we always have!

Ordered a Manhattan Chicken Salad (salad), was given a Manhattan Chicken Salad sandwich. When I asked about it, I was told that since I asked for a "half" instead of a "small" that it meant I was asking for a sandwich that I didn't even know existed. I awkwardly stood there with no resolution offered, then walked back to our table with the sandwich that I didn't want or eat. It wasn't until after I sat down that someone shouted over that they could make me the salad that I thought I ordered. But by that point I was over it, so we left disappointed in the experience.
