Let’s just say the glass of water was good.Took well over an hour for entrees to be served . The menu was small because of Restaurant week so to take that long is unacceptable. Four of us had the prime rib and it came out cold . The cut of meat was not the best . First and last time I will be going there .

We had our ladies golf league banquet at Rizzos on East Amherst. They did a terrific job! Discounted drinks at the bar beforehand and the service at dinner was excellent. All the dinners served to our group were prompt, hot and delicious!

If I could give it negative stars, we definitely would. To start, our server, who was also the manager for the evening, was excruciatingly slow. It took quite some time for him to approach our table to take drink orders and then we waited and waited for the drink orders to come. One member of our party ordered Prosecco, but was served Moscato (this confounded him). Two small plates of bread were served to our table of six, so we asked for another plate, which he seemed hesitant to bring. In the meantime, members of our party waited for their drinks, while some were served. When my salad was delivered, I found a hair in it. Three members of our party ordered an Antipasto salad and Mama's Meatballs. Two salads came out. And then we waited. And waited. The pasta dish was warm in the center and cool on the edges. The pork chop was warm, but the mashed potatoes were cold and still in the form of the container they came out of. Our waters were never refilled. Never even offered. Parts of our meals were comp'ed. To be honest, we really should not have been charged anything and the establishment should be embarrassed. I have never had such an awful experience in a restaurant before.

Food was very good. However, have you ever heard of eggplant parm served without spaghetti??? I had to ask for it. They said they don't do that but provided it with no upcharge.....

Placed an online order yesterday 5/27 through the Toast app. Ordered around 6:15pm and the time said it would be ready around 8:30 which I thought was odd. Tried calling the restaurant and no one answered. Around 7 I drove there to see why the wait was so long- maybe super busy? Got there and they aren’t even open but my order was able to get placed through the Toast app. Called today and they weren’t very apologetic that we ordered dinner, waited and the fact it was going to take 2 and a half hours to get the order, couldn’t cancel it, then drove there to see what was going on and they weren’t even open? I understand mistakes happen but the hours should be updated on the website and through Toast since they stated they aren’t open Monday and Tuesday but says 4-9 on the website for Tuesdays. We did end up getting refunded after calling, just inconvenient that they didn’t seem they were at fault.

I just had my baby shower here and it was such a beautiful experience. The tables and layout set for us looked beautiful, the room was a perfect size. The server/ manager were very attentive to anything we may have needed. I am still getting constant compliments on how incredible the food was and how everyone wants to go back to eat for dinner. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience! You will definitely have returning customers 😊

Been here a few times now. Had the fish fry special and also tried the pasta dishes. Every thing was great. Dale was a great server.
Has the potential to be better. My wife's eggplant was cold in the middle. Ceasar salad was solid. Local beer selection. It took quite some time for our entrees to arrive even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Seafood pasta was decent.

We arrived and there was no wait. The service was very good, the food was very good, and the prices were very fair! We enjoyed our meal! We were also impressed by the several specials being offered. Recommend that you try it!

WOW! I liked this place when it was a German restaurant several years ago, but I LOVE it now as Rizzo's Italian Restaurant. The food was great, prices very reasonable and the service(thank you, Jeanie, for all of your spot-on suggestions) was excellent. With Orazios out of business, Rizzo's just became our 'go to' Italian restaurant. Last, but not least..Rizzo's is WARM! I don't know how many upscale restaurants in Western New York that we have dined in that have, for some inexplicable reason, decided to cut costs by keeping the heat low. Nothing is a bigger turnoff than having to eat dinner in a heavy winter coat. Try Rizzo's, you won't be sorry!!
