The staff is so sweet and the shop at the entrance has cute items to buy. The breakfast is really good and the coffee cake is AMAZING. Support small businesses! East Amherst has so many great restaurants.

Unbridled CafeCoffee - 8.5really good. Just enough robustness, bitterness and smoothness.Temp was just hot enough to drink and got somewhat cold before I finished.Pancakes - 7 pretty good. Optimal amount of chocolate chips. Lacking some flavorHot chocolate - 7.5served exceptionally hot. So in this case very hot chocolate. Whipped cream - excellent. Not the chocolaty-est. So, a little too much hot and not enough chocolate.Service - 8Waitress was not the peachiest in Georgia but it’s ok because we are in New York.Decor - 9is nice and rustic at the same time. Very nice place. Slightly noisy but as expected in a cafe. And people are probably getting fired up for chicken wings, beer and the Super Bowl. Go Niners.

Unbridled has a Lenten fish fry that is fantastic! The fish is offered in several styles such as Italian, Greek, Broiled or Beer battered. It is tender and very tasty. It is offered with potato salad, macaroni salad, or coleslaw, choice of two. Homemade potato chips included with each. All delicious and filling. My only criticism is that the potatoes have a sprinkling of a salty and spicy flavoring that is too spicy. I would suggest offering it to customers in a salt shaker so they can choose it or not. The potatoes are wonderful without it, in my opinion. I do not like hot spicy additions to my food. Servers are all friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing. Heidi has met her goal! My husband and I go there often and have tried many items from the menu and are never disappointed.

Unbridled Cafe is bright and modern, located in a strip plaza storefront. Black and white checkered mini curtains gave it a diner-y feel. The theme was (naturally) equestrian, with tasteful horse imagery around. The ceiling was painted black, which added a nice touch. I noticed three horseshoes tacked to the wall upside down and it troubled me that their luck would run out, which (I learned in school in Texas) is why you put horseshoe decor with the open side UP, but I digress. There are two entrances/exits, but only one is to be used. You must enter via the Mercantile part of the building, a small crafty looking shop with packaged granola and other food and artisan items for sale. We were seated by the window at a two-top, and directly under a speaker. I love music, but this was just not comfortable to be seated under this Valentine's Day. The service was unrushed and attentive. As a first time visitor, I was intrigued to try a few items. Starting with coffee, it came served in a very cheery lime green mug with several containers of International Delight artificial creamers on the saucer. His iced tea was served in a lovely farmhouse mason jar with a nice slice of lemon. He ordered the rustic turkey club and it was unlike any club. It had a real slab of turkey on it, not lunch meat, served with basil pesto on an appealing ciabatta roll. The homemade chips were something you might acquire a taste for, ditto the pickle which was not a crispy one. I ordered a basic breakfast : two poached eggs (done to perfection) with good toast and home fries, which I didn't care for, thinking maybe they were end of breakfast leftovers, too oily and not hot. I also ordered a pancake to try, and well, let's say that you needed a knife to cut it, so thumbs down on the pancake. Something I noticed on the table and thought off-putting was a note stating "during busy times, please limit your stay to 90 minutes". Listen, on their hard wooden chairs, I doubt you'd be comfortable staying longer anyway. I've never seen a note like that and have been to some super busy diners, like MarDee's in Clarence. The room was comfortable with a variety of table sizes, from tables for two, to a large table that would accommodate many diners. I would come back to try again, but not sure I'll become a regular. Note that Unbridled Cafe makes a point that they strive to provide a positive dining experience, and I believe they mean that.

It is not a cafe. It is a breakfast joint. No good coffee options.

Trying to get through menu. Everything has been great. Faves so far have been Eggs Benny or Hash for breakfast and the Harvest Salad with Chicken for lunch… I think. Prices so reasonable I will keep trying new

Omg! Never been to Buffalo, NY but this family/woman-owned restaurant was on the top of my to-do list and it lived up to my expectations. Throughout the time I was here, you can find me inside Unbridled Cafe every single day. Food tasted like home cooked meals and the servers were very attentive and kind. The restaurant was very cozy and I loved all the decorations they had and on top of that, they had a gift shop called Unbridled Mercantile! Would definitely eat here every chance I get if I’m ever in the area! Also, GO BILLS!

Service was great however food was terrible! I have never wrote a review of a restaurant until now. They should fire the cook! Eggs were greasy and runny and not over medium, bacon was good toast not toasted, Not Even brown like toast should be but like a slice of bread toasted for 30 seconds. Coffee was good. Home fries were mushy and terrible! Nice atmosphere and friendly servers though. I will NEVER go back!

The food is phenomenal and the service is speedy. Between the friendliness of the staff and how big the portions are this is like a little slice of heaven. Thank you!
