What a special patissserie and boulangerie ! Every variety of French pastry, sandwich and bread is the finest you can buy anywhere. Their coffe beverages are also excellent. The multigrain loaf disappears quickly with loads of butter. Yum !

My family was a fan of the strawberry shortcakes here but the one I bought yesterday was awful. The strawberries and cream were hard and the cake was dry. A shocking drop in quality within a year.

I've spent many years in France over the last 30 years. This is the best French pastry I've had. And it's in Queens! We had palmiers, an apple tart that was rolled up, and an apricot filled triangle. In each case, the millefeuille pastry was phenomenal. It shattered as you bit into it. Not at all stodgy or dense. The perfect level of caramelization. I would drive 50 miles out of my way to have it again!

I stopped by to purchase a birthday cake for my husband. Got Red Velvet. It looked pretty, but tasted just a little bit dry (it stayed in our fridge two days until we cut it though). The cream was okay, but I prefer milkier cream cheesier version. I anticipated the best Red Velvet cake and it was not. Since I was inside I could not resist a pastry. Chose a lemon tart. It wasn’t too sweet which I did like. I will shop there again if I am in the neighborhood, but I will choose a different cake next time ( even though Red Velvet is usually one of my favorites ). It is quite convenient that there is a parking lot and Petco next door.

Cannelle Patisserie is a hidden gem for French pastries in NYC. Everything is delicious, but the Creole Cake is the standout.
Found a strand of hair in my almond croissant on my first bite. Absolutely disgusting. Will receive no compensation whatsoever either.
