I stopped by Cotto Trattoria at LGA’s C gates before my flight. The experience was disappointing. Staff gave inconsistent information about when the kitchen would close—first saying there was time, then later indicating otherwise. One waiter subtly discouraged me from sitting and ordering, even though the restaurant was still open and serving others. The food options may be fine, but that kind of inconsistency and attitude makes travelers feel unwelcome. At an airport restaurant, reliability and courtesy should be basic.

Good quality food for an airport, but the prices are just ridiculous.
Juan at Cotto at the LGA terminal C location was very attentive while visiting the terminal on our way back home from our NYC visit. It’s the airport so it’s a little more than if you got it somewhere else but I was very happy with the meatball Parmesan and the wedge salad my wife and I got as well as the Long Island iced tea. It’s New York and is not Burger King and you get what you pay for. They were all very good here. Juan was able to happily accommodate getting a little side of extra marinara sauce for my wife’s sandwich. Was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend. Enjoyed our visit.

That was the best Airport food I’ve had all day.
Small portion and expensive, $35 for a pasta. Food quality is pretty good and service is good.
I ordered a coffee and was about to get food but the servers kicked me out of the table saying I can’t sit there with coffee only, while a whole family and others did not order anything was able to sit down with the iPads.
Poor service. I ordered my drink through the app and I could see that no one was busy and I had to go to the waitress to get my drink because she absolutely didn’t look at the orders made or my presence. I was about to board and told her but she still took her time to serve me and wasn’t nice
This place changed me for meals I did not receive. Please check your bill. They steal from you. In the restaurant and the store.
I bought a personal pizza it was a pice of bread no cheese no flavor . 30 dollars

It’s such a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant like this at the airport. Since there’s only one staff member, you might need to look for them for a bit, but they’re very patient and attentive. We ordered a pizza that wasn’t on the menu, but after some discussion, the chef kindly made it for us—much appreciated! Oh, and their fries are fresh and delicious too.

Delicious food and great service. Very pricy though so I wouldn’t recommend for leisure travelers

Ramen dishes are very expensive. For the price charged (~US$ 15) they should add at least one slide of pork meet and half boiled egg to make the dish a bit closer to what it is served in ordinary ramen places in Japan.
It is outrageous to have the tip (18%) included in the bill without giving the possibility to the customer to set the rate. Besides that why we have to pay tip if the order is placed via tablet and apps?

Ordered the Carbonara with steak based on the waiters recommendation. It was pretty tasty! Just needed more salt for my preference and I didn’t know the side of steak was $13 more as an add on which is pricey! Steak was thin but cooked right. I’d go back but no add ons

Do not sit at the Cotto tables if you purchased food and drinks in the Cotto market. The Cotto employees will make you move out of the less than 1/2 filled space mid way through your meal, pack up and balance your half eaten opened salad and soda can as you cart your luggage. When pointing out it is the same company and seemed like an available option the employees could only repeat… “this is the restaurant and that is the market. “ I get it, I have been a server in my past, but I would have been the server to let the guest finish their meal as they cleaned up after themselves or tell them before they even start. Please either tell people before they start their meal or allow your patrons to sit there.
It was a good salad from the Cotto Market, just take it away from the Cotto chairs.
This isn’t the inclusive Newark Airport Restaurant Market where their restaurants let guest mix and match.

i paid full price for a childrens chicken tender that came with a drink included. only after paying i was informed that my drink i paid for would not be given to me due to my age. this is age discrimination at its finest. shame!
