It's a wonderful experience to come to La Kuchara. The food is delicious, and waitress Karla's service is incredible. I was fascinated.

We went to eat there for my family birthday, the restaurant was full and they sat us in an outside area that they have but is no music in that area. When they serve the food they have to walk outside of the restaurant in order to get to us and when the food arrived, it was cold. I ordered a steak with French fries and they brought me the plate with the French fries with pieces of rice on it and the meet was cold not only mine but the rest is my family members also. My son ordered shrimp. The shrimp needed a little more flavor.

Never been to an Equadorian restaurant before, first meal after the flying over from Europe that day. Food delicious, beer too. A bit empty for a Sunday evening, but the food came quickly. There was no water at the table. Pretty waitresses. Clean and cozy atmosphere. Chairs a bit uncomfortable I have to say.

Lulu juice had no liking.only 3 tables filled and yet we waited over 20 minutes for food. No water offered or update from waiting staff. Guatitaās potatoes were not thoroughly cooked. So disappointed as Barzola was up the block but wanted to give Kuchara a try- as we donāt get to Queens much.
I hope they take constructive criticism. Always wish fellow Nanos well. Other than that, the decor is cute and the concept has potential :)

Visited here on a weekend for an early dinner late lunch the place was on the emptier side given the odd time it got full as we finished up. The staff was extremely friendly, answering all of our questions, and super accommodating. I came here with my Ecuadorian in-laws and they were blown away with the flavors and taste of the food especially the ceviche!! Would definitely come back more often if I lived closer.

Normally I donāt leave reviews even negative ones for that matter, came here last week for a nice meal. The staff was sort of stand-off they didnāt seem like they want to service us and rushed us to order. After finishing eating they didnāt ask if we wanted anything else and gave us the check right away. When we informed them we did want dessert the waitress seemed annoyed and after a few minutes came back and told us the restaurant āran out of dessertsā which was strange because a few waitresses offered desserts to tables near us a few minutes before getting told. I get being rushed as they were busy but we did finish our food quickly after receiving it and they didnāt treat any other tables like this especially the one next to us as they got sat before us and didnāt even finish their meal after we paid. Overall this place can do better and has to work on their customer service for them to succeed if not theyāll be like every other Ecuadorian restaurant in queens

Incredible experience. Karla was excellent. Great service. And the food was very good. Definitely recommend.
The food was better, and the portions were good enough, and so was the service. But now they have changed, way overpriced for the amount of food and the service was just terrible. A family of 5 left the table, spending usd 250+ with no drinks and hungry still, and our waiter just forgot about us, no spoons, no drinks, asked for extra lemons and in the end no lemons. We are not coming back, and please do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else where your business are really appreciated and your family is taking care of.
