I will never come back here again. As expensive as this food is, it's not worth even a dollar

A small family business. Although there was limited seating, we arrived about 5pm on a Wednesday evening and there was seating for the 4 of us. We ordered Cuban sandwiches and they were great. For the first time we also shared an order of Mofungo, it was delicious. The service was excellent and friendly. A true NYC neighborhood experience. A must if you are in the neighborhood. Walking distance from LaGuardia Plaza Hotel. Although we were tourists, they made us feel like family. Thank you for a great experience. The Maas family

It took them over 30 min to make a sandwich and fries. Was waiting in a hot room with no AC.

This place was such good vibes. We dropped off our luggage here coming from the airport and the workers here are so nice and friendly. I believe Gus was his name gave us good directions of transportation we could take. Just overall nice people!

The food at this restaurant is always good and of good quality. I have been eating for a long time, especially lunches, in this place and I always leave satisfied but today I bought breakfast and although it was very good the price spoils it. This dish of taro mangu, salami and cheese and a coffee for $15 dollars I think is excessive for a breakfast. Although this type of breakfast sustains you for the day and apart from the fact that it was well cooked, the price does not deserve it because it is breakfast after all. Unfortunately I would not pay this price again for this breakfast and it is something that the person in charge must understand that sometimes it is better to earn less for a dish and compensate it in the volume because people come back again but when the price is high many times they do not come back as It's not going to be me, at least not for breakfast. Maybe next time I'll just have a coffee because the coffee is always great here, I recommend it.
Another objective review of a lunch special.
I decided today, 7/9/24 to stop at this restaurant for lunch. Order white rice, baked chicken, sweet plantains and a large coffee. The food, as always, of good quality, quantity and fresh, even more so that it arrives just before 12pm. Today they didn't have a cashier, there were only two women taking orders and serving so I had to wait a little longer. The food was as if it were from home. Recommended.

I called around 3:10PM to ask if they had oxtail. I was told yes that for pick up it was 10$ and to go was 19$.
I come to the restaurant 10 minutes later for pick up and I’m told they no longer have. Very upsetting.
Rude employee and don’t know how to respond to costumer
Great tasting food. The empanada are delicious. Don't forget the flan here, my god, the best I had ever had anywhere.
