The acidic pizza, the low quality cheese and they treat the customer and the delivery people badly, they are despotic and have a bad attitude.

Used to love this place and would give it 5 stars. Been coming here for about 3 years.
Tonight at 9:16 pm I was told the bathroom was closed because they already cleaned it.
(They close at 10 pm and I'm a PAYING customer)
So you clean a bathroom before closing which I totally understand as I've worked in pizzerias for 10 years and that means a customer can't use the bathroom?
Never heard of that before in my life.

waited 25 minutes for a pizza that was cooked and packaged sitting on top of their oven… asked for a fresh pizza instead of the on that was just sitting there, they said ‘this is fresh’. all why the boss just sat in a back booth and watched… absolutely garbage customer service, go somewhere else.
update: had to put it in my over bc it was already cold after a 5min drive home. f these people.

If you order a large pie. Make sure they give you a fresh pie. I ordered an hour befire closing and they gave me multiple slices of pizza made at different time of the day. Not fresh!! Unbelievable!!

Where do I even start? Walked in and a teenager behind the counter was judging me because what I was wearing and being Nosey and on top of that completely ignoring us when we wanted to order to them about 20 minutes to take our order 40 to get the food and the table wasn’t even clean? And there was about 5 bugs in there when we entered super unprofessional also when we tried to get a napkin it would always rip and the only good thing about it was the drinks and the bread and it looked like they wanted us out and yet serving other people while they were making us wait when we got the food the plates were dirty and I’m pretty sure there was a hair in there on top of that they were spraying something next to the pizzas and took them a good 5 minutes to tell us to sit down by far the worst place you can eat in Astoria.

My family has ordered pizza’s from Bruno’s for years. I moved upstate NY and still on my trips home I always looked forward to getting a pizza from Bruno’s. The last few times I was home I was very much disappointed with the quality of the pizza, not only was it smaller but it tasted as if it was reheated not a pizza pie that just came out of the oven.That was how it was today, I called and spoke to the manager, and let him know of my disappointment. He was nice, and was willing to make me another.
I don’t believe he was being truthful with me. When He said they had to make the pizza smaller to fix in the box, like I said I have been getting pizza pies there for years, there was never trouble with the pizza fitting in the box. If you are going to pay 22 dollars and change you deserve a pizza that is fresh and not smaller in size. What a disappointment.Things don’t last forever, I think it is time to try another pizzeria.
One more thing, customer service is important, the young lady taking orders should learn to smile and acknowledge customers, things appear to be going downhill for Bruno’s, I am sad to see that happen.
