Customer service wasn’t the best! I order a chicken parm with Alfredo and asked if I can get the chicken plain with nothing on top, when I received my food there was marinara sauce on top of the chicken, I reminded the server of my request. He carried the food back to the kitchen where they told him that was the last piece of chicken and he gave me the plate back. I did not like it and notified the server, he didn’t acknowledge what I said, he took the plate and walked off, he didn’t ask me if I wanted to change my order or anything. 5 mins later he came back and said “anything I could do for you”.
I thoroughly enjoyed my food..service and ambiance today. The food was scrumptious and the staff was courteous. I have one minor issue my table was facing the kitchen and my inquisitive nature kept looking in. I must say the kitchen was clean and organized. Overall I give my experience 9/10.
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. I celebrated my birthday dinner at Oasis Bar and Bistro, and it truly exceeded all expectations. The ambiance struck the perfect balance of soft, luxe elegance and welcoming and sophisticated without being over the top. The staff were incredibly accommodating, attentive without being intrusive, and made the evening feel extra special. And the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for a special occasion or any time you want to treat yourself.
A Deeply Disappointing Experience Our recent visit to Oasis Restaurant and Bistro left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we inquired—politely—whether the restaurant could accommodate our party of 17. (DISCLAIMER: WE HAD A RESERVATION 1 FOR 10 PEOPLE AND ANOTHER FOR 7 UNDER THE SAME NAME. UNFORTUNATELY THEY WERE BOOKED SEPERATE TIMES BY SEPARATE PEOPLE SO ONE PARTY WAS SEATED INSIDE AND THE ORHER WAS SEATED OUTSIDE). We fully understood that a same-day request of this size might not be possible, and we were prepared for that outcome. What we were not prepared for, however, was the openly hostile response from the hostess, Leo, who curtly cut us off with the words: “Let me spare you the trouble—NO!” His tone was condescending, his demeanor entirely devoid of courtesy, and the entire exchange left us stunned. What made this worse—and frankly, inexcusable—was that shortly after our interaction, we watched a similarly sized group (also a party of 17 that originally arrived as 10) be seated and accommodated with what appeared to be little issue. The inconsistency in treatment was not only baffling, it was disheartening. Despite this, we chose to stay, as we were celebrating a special occasion for a dear friend who had her heart set on dining here. Hoping to address the matter constructively, we asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager who eventually came to speak with us was just as dismissive. Rather than acknowledging or investigating our concerns, she offered a half hearted apology and explanation and brushed off our complaint without a hint of professionalism or accountability. Her response? A hollow, offhanded remark to my friend: “Did you get your free champagne?”—as if that somehow excused the unacceptable behavior we had just experienced. This level of disregard for basic hospitality, let alone respectful customer service, was truly appalling. Oasis may pride itself on ambiance or cuisine, but if this is the standard of treatment for patrons—especially during what was meant to be a joyful celebration—it is clear that something fundamental is lacking. The only bright ray of light in this fiasco was our server GIA who offered us a genuine heartfelt apology and severed us WITH EXCELLENCE. I hope this review encourages the management to reevaluate not only how guests are treated, but also who is chosen to represent the face of their establishment. Until then, I cannot recommend Oasis to anyone seeking an experience marked by warmth, professionalism, or even basic decency.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Oasis Restaurant – A True Culinary Gem Owned by Chef Corey Smalls From the moment my family and I stepped into Oasis tonight, we knew we were in for something extraordinary. Owned and expertly helmed by the talented chef and visionary Corey Smalls, this establishment is nothing short of a culinary sanctuary that redefines what a dining experience should be. First and foremost, the food was absolutely sensational—above five-star quality in every sense of the word. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh, vibrant, and perfectly cooked, demonstrating the chef’s incredible skill and creative flair. It’s rare to encounter a place where every bite exceeds expectations, but at Oasis, that’s precisely what happened. From the appetizers to the main courses and the decadent desserts, everything was executed with precision and passion. The flavors were complex yet harmonious, showcasing a deep understanding of culinary artistry. What truly set the experience apart was the impeccable timing and presentation. The food was served hot and fresh, right on schedule, which speaks volumes about the efficiency and professionalism of the entire team. Nothing was rushed, yet nothing was delayed—just a seamless flow that made the entire evening feel relaxed and indulgent. The staff at Oasis deserves a standing ovation. Their knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine warmth went far beyond our expectations. They anticipated our needs, offered insightful recommendations, and made us feel like more than just customers—they made us feel like honored guests in someone’s home. Their professionalism, coupled with their friendly demeanor, created an atmosphere of comfort and trust that is so rare in the restaurant industry today. We were fortunate enough to book the private room for my 2 Moms birthday , and it was nothing short of spectacular. It felt like we were sitting comfortably in our own living room, engaged in intimate conversation at our personal dinner table. The ambiance was cozy, inviting, and tastefully decorated, making it the perfect setting for a family gathering. The privacy and warmth of the space fostered a sense of closeness and connection that truly elevated our dining experience. It’s undoubtedly one of the most intimate and memorable dinner venues I’ve ever experienced outside of my own home. Chef Corey Smalls has created more than just a restaurant—he’s cultivated a community space where culinary excellence, heartfelt service, and genuine hospitality come together in perfect harmony. His dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is evident at every turn, and it’s clear that he pours his heart into every aspect of Oasis. I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Chef and his entire team for delivering an evening that we will cherish forever. Oasis Restaurant is a shining example of what the restaurant industry can be when passion, talent, and genuine care come together. If you’re looking for an extraordinary dining experience—whether for a special occasion or just to indulge in some of the best food and service around—look no further than Oasis. It’s a place that will leave a lasting impression and keep us coming back for more. Bravo to Chef Corey Smalls and the Oasis team! You’ve truly set a new standard for Bahamian excellence in dining.
Waited an hour an half to be served my food. No waiter came to our table we had to keep going to the bar to get service for drinks and food. My fried fish was served cold. Crazy part the manager/owner was a friend of the person I was with. The sad post there were waiters all over and I had to ask 3 of them for a fork to eat my food. Will not go back.
Ordered j*** chicken with rice and peas from Uber eats. What I received did NOT look or taste like j*** chicken AT ALL. Also it was extremely spicy, so even if I wanted to eat it, I couldn’t. Rice was alright.. kinda crunchy. Would not reorder from here.
Very good service, great experience
The hostess was rude and mean as soon as she walked out. She was complaining about being hot in her own restaurant. She spewed out all of her bad energy towards myself as the customer and took a phone call on her cellphone while she was manually entering my transaction and asking my personal business while on the cellphone. Untrustworthy. Bad business and vibes.
Great food and atmosphere
