Plaka embodies what I love about New York. More often than not, you can drop in on a random neighborhood restaurant and have a meal that will knock your socks off. And, at a reasonable price, too.
Waiting for a family member to arrive at LGA, I decided to eat dinner at a restaurant in a strip center near the airport. I chose Plaka and had the grilled chicken platter with grilled vegetables. It was great and can't be beat at $23.

This restaurant is a staple for my family and I in queens. The staff treat you like family & the food is always made with quality and care. It’s a convenient location and there is always parking too. The restaurant is modest & traditional. I would highly recommend.
