Ordered the octopus for lunch. 20 bucks, fine. Picked it up, opened the bag. 1 small tentacle (3-4 in), small scoop of tomatoe and onions and a large pinch of lettuce. The tentacle was overpowered with lemon There are other options in town. NEVER AGAIN!

Look I like the food I like the drinks it’s a nice place but when u order out and u get muscles why are they putting it into a paper bag like I got home and went to grab the food and it all fell out the bottom of the bag I waisted an hour of my time and I don’t even get to eat the food I just bought

I can’t believe I waited two years to try this spot—it’s literally 2 minutes from where I live, and the food blew me away. I ordered the nachos with chorizo, a torta de milanesa, the rice bowl, and quesadillas. Everything was packed with flavor and super fresh. Prices are pretty much what you’d expect from a solid Mexican spot—around $16 and up—but totally worth it. I seriously regret not coming here sooner. Highly recommend!

Havent been here since my 30th birthday and I missed this place!! The food quality is consistently amazing, and the cocktails are my favorite in the area. Hubby said it was the best birrira ramen hes had , so we will definitely be back soon. I wish i remembered our servers name, she was a sweetheart.i hope they keep the “be mine” drink😅

I have loved El Jalapeño since it was El Guacamole and it does not disappoint. The food is always delicious and my take out orders are just like they were ordered in person! I always love the empanadas and birria tacos (they are so yummy!) I will definitely be back.

I have eaten at El Jalapeño a couple of times. Tonight I ordered a steak rice fajita bowl for take out. It was delicious! Their food is always so fresh and always has the right amount of seasoning! I will continue to order from here as well as eat in their restaurant which is always clean and has great service!

I don’t typically leave reviews but I have to for this place. First of all, the food is extremely overpriced. Second of all, I’m pretty sure dog food would taste better. There’s no seasoning, no salt, no anything. It tastes like you’re eating a cardboard box. 1/5 would not recommend this place it is awful

Got take out here for the first time, food just wasn’t good. Empanadas tasted off and the cheese in the quesadillas wasn’t fully melted and it almost tasted kind of sour. The avocado slices on top of empanadas were brown just yuck

The food was average at best and ridiculously over priced. 2 orders of tacos and a sandwich were $70. $5 for a soda. Tacos came with NOTHING. No rice, no beans, no guac, no sour cream, NOTHING. We were never served chips and salsa. We were told that Chips and Salsa are no longer complimentary. VERY POOR VALUE. With so many other choices out there of Mexican restaurants that actually give you huge portions, rice and beans with meals, and complimentary chips and salsa, there is no reason to eat here again. I was very disappointed because this was close to home and I wanted to love it.
