This is my second trip to one of this local chain's restaurants and I was once again very happy! Good food for reasonable prices, and the drinks were also very good! I'll definitely go back. Got the Super Tacos with chorizo and I'd highly recommend

Walked in for lunch and was immediately endeared by the bright decor - the hand carved and painted seats were incredible! Split the elote trio, birria tacos, and a tlaxaca soup with my husband. All were delicious and came with free chips and salsa! Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

Great little spot in Hopewell - love the steak tacos and the queso is absolutely delicious. I tend to order takeout but the restaurant is always packed with happy customers and it appears to be a very fun environment. The takeout is always ready quickly and is packaged well. One of my favorite Mexican spots!
I went to dinner at El Guac on a Saturday night around 6:30-7 o’clock with one other person and it was absolutely dead, there were maybe 2 other tables with people. When we first arrived, I was underwhelmed by the size of the salsa containers for our chips but it turned out to be more than enough for two. We also ordered the queso with chorizo and that was very good as well, a bit slacking with the chorizo but otherwise a very decent queso. I ordered the birria tacos for my meal and this is why I’m giving this place 5 stars. The consume was so delicious and hearty. The tacos themselves had a nice crunchy shell, a BEAUTIFUL cheese pull, and the meat was so tender. I find that most places overcook their meat but El Guac cooked it to perfection. They were also served with rice which normally doesn’t come with birria but now I never want to skip out on it again. overall they were definitely the best birria tacos i’ve ever had. $17 is a touch expensive but for the tacos, consume, and rice it is definitely worth it. The staff was very friendly and our server was an absolute sweetheart. The place was clean, staff was so nice, and the food was delicious. This place definitely should’ve had more business on a saturday night so if you want to support a local business and have a delicious meal, El Guac is a great place. I definitely will be coming back.

Heard it was good so we went yesterday. I didn’t care for either their red or green salsa with chips The containers they come in our minuscule. Didn’ta matter cause I wouldn’t have wanted more .The Birria tacos were decent at first the dipping gravy tasted sour though . My sister got the enchilada suiza . The sauce was so sour, she couldn’t eat it. She did tell them when we left. I brought it home cause I hate wasting food.Ate it today would not go back there ?
