I had an amazing experience with this Carvel! They made two custom cakes for me and both turned out perfect. For the first cake, I sent a picture and they recreated it exactly how I wanted. The second cake was even more impressive—I gave very short notice and they still had it ready by the next day. Such a talented cake artist and outstanding customer service. Amazing staff! I ordered a custom pokemon cake for my grandson's birthday. He got sick and the party got postponed. Carvel called me to tell me they were making a fresh one at no additional fee. They wanted it to be fresh and delicious and it was! Thank you, East Meadow Carvel!

This is another one of those reviews I have to make because of the Customer Service. Once again you’ll see that I don’t have a lot of reviews so when I make a review, it means something special. I’m going to Carvel retail stores my entire life. This Store is by far and away the best. They always have an amazing variety of cakes and frozen desserts. They always have the latest flavors and toppings galore. And the thing is that always hasn’t been the case with this store. The key component to this particular store on Merrick Avenue in East Meadow NOW, is the Customer Service. The “new proprietor” of this store is an amazing person. Her name is Quin. She took over this location more than a year ago and the transition is what’s making me do this review. Coming to this location for more than five years and the change has been dramatic. She clearly trains her staff to be kind and courteous, and very knowledgeable. But what’s most important is the special treatment that she gives you when you’re looking to get a cake. The cake you see pictured is an image cake and she went out of her way to find that image for me on her own and make this occasion special for my son. You won’t be disappointed in this Carvel. Take the time come here if you like ice cream trust me you won’t be disappointed..

My daughter bday cake came out looking better than the picture. It was sooo pretty n yummy. Even my husband was surprised how nice it came out. Quinn, the owner even followed up with me to confirm every detail from before and even followed up afterwards. Superb customer svc. Also, the flavor i chose was delish! Marshmellow n she even made me cake batter confetti icecream fresh from soft serve. Def recommend for custom cakes!

Thought they closed at 10. Tried to get ice cream at 9:45, the door was closed but the open sign was still on. If you guys close before 10pm you should really change your business hours on google and the sign that says 10pm on the door as well. Because me and my family should’ve been serviced

Good but the only minuses are that they no longer carry kosher items and their soft serve seems to melt as soon as it leaves the machine or in other words melts right after you pay.

This is our favorite ice cream shop! We always come here for their delicious gluten free ice cream cakes for all kinds of special occasions. The new owner is incredibly kind and sweet—so patient and always willing to go the extra mile to meet our needs and answer our questions. The store is always clean and organized. We recently got the most beautiful Mother’s Day cake, and it truly made the day even more special. We’ll definitely be back soon to order a cake for our daughter’s graduation party!
