Try Friendlies in East Meadow for a happy family experience. Christmas week is a wonderful time to spend with your grandchildren at Friendlies. Our waitress went over and beyond to make this happen.

Service is beyond slow. Take my kids here every so often because they like the food and ice cream, but I usually try to talk them out of it. Most recently we waited 25 minutes to order ice cream. The food ia decent, the ice cream is good. The service is just terrible.

I haven't been here in 25 YEARS because I moved to Texas. But I came back to NY for a visit and this was my first stop. My favorite childhood restaurant. I ordered the exact same thing as when I was a child. Everything was amazing just as it was back then !!! I absolutely love this place. No one should take it for granted. Its a wonderful happy memory for me and I'm so glad I got to visit.
