We ordered a whole bunch of trays for an after wedding party-party. About 60-70 guests. Every single dish was a hit. They even prepared it before business hours because it was quite an order. Will be ordering from here for future parties. Well done, Kusinera! The trays we ordered were: bam-i, sisig, chicken afritada, beef kaldereta, ginisang sitaw at kalabasa, ginataang mais and ube flan. A little over $1000 worth.

Stumbled upon this place after going to Eisenhower park. Really tasty home style cooked dishes. We tried most of the hot plate offerings and the lechon and everything was delicious. Owners are super friendly and very hospitable. Even had a little coloring package for kids. Will definitely be coming back to try the a la carte menu.

While I typically refrain from leaving negative reviews, our recent encounter with Kusinera compels me to share our experience.Our family have ordered several times from here. Food always tastes great, that’s why for our family reunion party, we decided to solely order from here. Unfortunately, a few hours after eating, all of us fell ill with symptoms indicative of food poisoning.Regrettably, our outreach to the owner yielded an apologetic yet unsympathetic response. Kusinera used to be one of our favorite rastaurants, but with this experience, we will no longer be ordering from here.

Food Poisoning Warning!!!My family ordered a couple of dishes from Kusinera for our Christmas Eve celebration. Within 2-3 hours of consumption, everyone had gastroenteritis. They ruined our Holidays. Multiple people in our family had to call out of work. We reached out to the restaurant and their response to the complaint was severely disappointing and lacking. They did not take accountability. They dragged on with an “investigation” without any solution or compensation. Every conversation with them was one excuse after the other.I hope no one else has to go through this. Do not order from here.

The staff were super friendly. There's one large table and 5 double occupancy tables. Place looks clean. The hot steam table offers different dishes everyday. Hubby and I each tried the 2 entree with rice plate. The pork and eggplant dish was the most memorable dish but everything else was delicious with their own distinguished flavors.The ube flan was super creamy. Just upset they didn't have halo halo when I went. Owner explained that she makes all the ingredients fresh and just haven't made it lately but will soon. Can't wait to come back to try everything.

Food is always delicious. Joy actually catered one of our parties and people raved about the food. We always have a good meal here. Place is always clean.My only complaint is that I wish the price hadn’t gone up what it has in the last few years but I get it after Covid and all the inflation the last few years, the cost of business has gone up so much. Maybe a rewards program would get us to come more. Either way, it’s a nice treat to ourselves when we want it but can’t get it regularly.

It was my first visit to this restaurant with my Filipino mother. We ate there, and ordered a lot of food to go to try out this week. We love Filipino restaurants with authentic cuisine in Woodside, but wanted to try this place since there are few places out in Long Island. The sinigang na bangus was very good. It did taste like home-cooking. I also ordered a combo with pork kare kare and barbecue chicken, which was a great value and delicious as well. The service was excellent, so we will be back for sure and bring more family.

I loved the food! I tried samples before ordering my food. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and outstanding as well. Many places in Long Island don't make flavorful food like this. My brother and I felt very welcomed as customers. We left with delicious dessert at the end. I took a ube flan, halo halo , and bilo bilo. Overall would recommend to anyone!!
