I accidentally ordered from this place recently on Uber Eats. I was told the one in New Hyde Park is better but for some reason my app picked up this one by mistake and they're further from me. The portion size was the smallest Halal I've ever had anywhere and there was no white sauce like I ordered.I know not to go to this place, because when they first opened a few years ago, I decide to try them, and the person I believe is the owner was very rude and like someone else said - no smile. The staff was the same way. I felt very uncomfortable, like I did something wrong by even being there and I'm all smiling and super friendly. The food portion at that time also was inadequate. I don't feel I get my money's worth at this place.I'll stick to the Halal food trucks. There is one on Oak St. across from Hofstra or go to Hamza and Medina. Food portions are way larger and cheaper price.

First time eating Halal food . I ordered chicken over rice with cucumber and white sauce . The amount food I got just for under $10. The staff were helpful and polite . The restaurant was kept in great & tidy condition. My food was DELICIOUS .

The food is nice and place is clean but the owner is very rude. He is always in frustration, I asked for the extra white sauce and I don’t know why but he got annoyed and literally put the half bottle in the rice and commented me how will you eat the swimming pool of white sauce. The food got wasted I have to trash it out.Hope the staff under him will get better job - as a customer it was so difficult to see such arrogant person god save the staff.

I recieved the incorrect order when delivered. I ordered a chicken over rice with white sauce and instead recieved a chicken over rice with white sauce and bbq sauce. I also ordered a side of pita bread and it did not arrive. Terrible service and can’t read an order.

I had the lamb platter with salad. The lamb and rice were cold even though it's in the aluminum container. The rice is plain tasting. Hummus was served on the salad. Hummus tasted fresh. They do give a large portion.

East meadow shah halal before when you buy food they give you free souces now he charge 50’ cents very small cup size I have to complain 311 tomorrow never show the price on screen when i ask give me extra souce then he say charge souce quantitynot worth 50’
