Surprisingly bad given the reviews. We arrived with a party of six and they sort of ignore us for awhile at the door, and then the woman who runs the place came over and seemed annoyed and pushed two tables together but then walked back to take an order and never actually spoke to us to bring us to the table. A little weird. We were still trying to get silverware ten minutes later. And there were bugs flying around during the whole meal. Food was poor. We've been to Portugal and, trust me, it doesn't taste like this. The bread was dry (maybe a day old?). Not served with butter or olive oil. One appetizer came out and then about twenty minutes later, a couple more. The mussels and chorizo were good, and the Caesar salad was very good (though not exactly a Portuguese dish). My steak was well done when ordered medium rare, and "Portuguese" style just means they put a fried egg on top. Just a piece of overcooked steak with an egg--no sauce or anything or veggies (I know, they're for the table). The vegetables for the table were greasy and overcooked. The fries were very good though. The service was unsmiling the whole time, bordering on rude. Not sure why. We are an interracial family but the server wasn't particularly friendly to anyone else at their tables either. The stuffed fish is stuffed with pork (not mentioned on the ancient menu, which doesn't have half the wines listed and doesn't describe any of the dishes). Our niece doesn't eat pork and the server kept saying, you still have to pay for it. You should have told us... Not untrue but not handled in a friendly way and we just paid for it and had it boxed to take home. Three members of our party (including me) spent extra time in the bathroom afterwards. $260 for six people with two bottles of wine. The whole place just left a sense of being tired and dialing it in. I wanted to like it since it was my birthday dinner but just can't recommend.

First time dining in, good food. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. It’s going to be my go to Italian place from now!

The food there is delicious, my favorite dish it’s the clams in garlic sauce, they have the best desserts too.

Service was terrible. Took 30 mins for anyone to come to the table. We didn’t even order a drink. They said if you go anywhere you wait 30 mins to get service. Don’t recommend.

Everything is always very good and we've had a lot of dishes from here. I've only done takeout but would like to try dining in sometime soon! I would definitely recommend it.

Superb fresh seafood, octopus, grilled sardines, calamari, tuna steak, sword fish and the list goes on. The meat is excellent as well and I love the sangria! The service is excellent and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed.

Drove to have dinner on 8/24/23. They closed earlier than posted hours. Wasted a drive there. Very disappointing.

Excellent food Very good service Only reason for 4 stars is the tables are basically touching each other

Great little local place for Portuguese food. Waiter was friendly and offered suggestions. The red sangria was nice and refreshing. We tried the clams in garlic sauce and the mussels as appetizers and both were seasoned nicely and was enjoyable. The table bread was served cold but you can request them to warm it up. It's definitely worth visiting.

Went here for a nice dinner. I really enjoy their picanha steak. The food was excellent as always. The service is good. It's a small establishment with no real wait staff except I believe the owner. She does her best to take care of everyone but when the place gets busy, is hard for her to keep up. We say and waited and waited for our check while she waited on other tables and made cocktails at their bar for another. If you don't mind the relaxed atmosphere, I do highly recommend them. I will definitely be going back myself. The parking is horrible but that's mainly due to the poor setup and horrible drivers here on long island that can't park between the lines. I don't daily the restaurant for that. The prices are fair for what you get.Parking: Parking is limited as it's in a strip mall of sorts and nobody can park between the lines.
