It was a bit loud in the restaurant. We were shocked to see how people were dressed For a fine dining restaurant. The service was great. The braised short ribs were amazingly delicious along with everything else that we ordered. Looking forward to going back.
Our table was a bit cramped, the food was a bit mild and flavorless though presently nicely. The service was okay enough but not at the level of quality for what we were paying. I would not run back again with the volume of competitors for the value. The ambiance was clean and classy except for the music.
This was our third time here and it's been great each time! The food, service and drinks are on point and the prices are fair. I'll definitely be back.
Brunch was great! Only request would be to add a few gluten-free choices - most of the mains are bread based, so the ability to swap with a GF option would be ideal.
This was our second visit and we ordered every sushi roll on the menu. Everything was delicious! Great drinks and atmosphere.
From the moment my partner and I walked in everything about The Union was phenomenal. The staff was attentive and the food was amazing. The portion size for the food was huge that we had to take some home because of how full we got. I would highly recommend booking this place and I will be going back again soon.
Brought my husband here for his birthday dinner and we both agreed, 10 out of 10 recommend. We already have plans to take my brother and sister in law.

Food was quite good (avoid the mash potato puree however)
Service was excellent.
Value was poor---entrees should come with more accompaniments for the price.
We went for belated Mothers Day dinner and were quite disappointed in the value proposition. Would not recommend.
Other aspects of restaurant were quite good--need to add some value. Not eveyone is a North Shore millionaire !!

First time patron since the restaurant was renamed and remodeled. The drive up remains beautiful and the walkway to the restaurant. The restaurant itself had a mature feel than advertised, yet it was clean and classic in terms of decor. If cigar smoke bothers you, this is not the place for you because that's what you smell immediately upon entering the restaurant, which wasn't something I or my family cared for. I asked about the scent and was told there was a private Cigar Bar upstairs from the restaurant. If I was aware I may have made another choice. The food was tasty and the portions were great. I found it odd that when I walked away from my dining table to ask for cake and a candle for the birthday we were celebrating, the waitress without any hesitation came to the table and exclaimed what candles they didn't have which was disappointing because the sparkler candles are advertised on the restaurant's page and secondly, everyone knows the cake is always some form of slight surprise for the honoree. Overall it was a fair experience.
