Amazing food, great people, great atmosphere!

This is such an amazing place. I cannot express enough how everything, right down to the mayonnaise is made from scratch… and sourced from their very own farm! What a gem this place is from homemade food and homemade brews all made from the harvest of their own farm. A true farm to table and a delight for all your senses - The Ponds is an incredible devotion to entertainment, beauty and superb attention to culinary quality. I can’t wait for our next visit!! And did you see their perennial sale????? One stop shopping, eating and horticulture education!!

The place is stunning and super well maintained, we were very lucky to visit the restaurant recently and enjoyed every moment, from the pool table, to the breathtaking scenic views, food is delicious and mostly all the vegetables they use are grown in their greenhouses, on top of that they have a microbrewery operation with very great seasonal beers. The people running the restaurant will make you feel like family.
If you are in the area is a must

I drive 3 hours up to East Meredith and come up here from New Jersey. This place has never let me down with food, service, drinks or atmosphere. Everytime I come by, I get a windy hill farm burger, at least one special, and an order of Carolina barbecue wings. Don’t forget to stop by Steve’s whisky shed! Meet the staff, meet meet Cathy( she’s the best in the business and has the best energy), meet her husband Steve. Come to the ponds restaurant.

Best place to come up to. I drive 3 hours up here to my cousins house and stop here every single time at least twice for the weekend. Always fresh food, always great beer and the atmosphere is always as great as everything else about this restaurant. As long as the ponds are open, IM STOPPING BY.

We traveled with 16 to northern Michigan for a golfing trip. We had a stop at The Ponds and enjoyed it. Everyone had a great time and finished with a shopping trip to their fantastic gift shop.

First, The Ponds is located in a natural paradise of lush, green hills in East Meredith, NY in the Catskills. As you approach the restaurant, you see where your fresh food has been growing, and outside The Ponds your eyes feast on some of the most exotic, colorful day lilies in Creation, almost enough to take your hunger away if you enjoy the beauty of flowers. You can enjoy your meal and drinks inside a spacious Amish barn or dine outside on top of the world or near the
Pond with ducks and geese to entertain you. But wait, the menu is enough to some day try each one. My choice rated the most delicious fresh penne pasta I’ve ever tasted. Let the description tempt you away from home: “Penne Pasta noodles with Basil Cream Sauce with Sautéed Broccoli and Mushrooms.” Heaven.

Vegetarian options: Penne pasta was the best vegetarian option, but it was out of this world and both filling and satisfying.

Parking: Parking was easy, spacious, and convenient.
