ok food, horrible service. we were greeted very rudely and were not given utensils. you can tell the staff doesn't get along therefore there were many slip ups in the waitressing. After 20 minutes of not having our order taken and watching people seated after us being helped we had to bring it to their attention that our order still wasn't taken. not only that but we ordered two strawberry lemonades and received strawberry smoothes, this was resolved but once we were given the check they had failed to charge us for the proper things we ordered and had to get that fixed as well. food was kind of cold and some things could of been cooked more. I would eat at any other brownstones in long island than this one

Whenever I am in the area I drop by for an iced coffee or drink. The service is great, even when I am being picky and specific. Lately I've stopped in when Cassie is working barista and the latte could not be better. We had a sweet chat as I waited briefly for my drink then I went outside to the picnic table. Gotta love outdoor seating. Next time, I'll check if there's any vegan options on the food menu. Thanks again!

The Lunch dishes are just as amazing. The restaurant is just adorable inside with a nice atmosphere. Parking can be a bit tuff especially on the weekends. Highly Recommend.

Came here about 2-3 times. Food was mid and pricy. Brownstone is hyped up because of the aesthetics of the food, not so much the quality. The hot chocolate had so much whip cream, it was more whip cream than hot chocolate. The crepes had so much chocolate inside, it's too sweet and it's not ideal. I do really like their French toast bits with Nutella and a side of loaded potato fries. The service here is not that great either. We were barely checked up on the last time we were there and when we asked for sugar or spoon, we had to ask several times. Management also had poor attitude. That was the last time I went back. I’ve been going here for years and mainly order online and pickup the order. The food quality and service seems to be going down each time we order. We ordered a couple breakfast items including the French toast bites last Friday. The French toast was completely stale and hard as a rock. I called to see if I could get a replacement and was left on hold for over two minutes. Then what a surprise, the phone hung up before anyone got back on the line. Also, when picking up various orders- you walk in and they will simply stare at you like deer in headlights. I know some of the employees are younger, but loose the attitude and offer help and engage properly with customers. I’m simply giving a name on the order and picking up.

Why wasn’t I notified about this? And just decided to give me anything, which is not their decision to make, gave me attitude about it, when I asked to order what I originally wanted. Didn’t offer me any sort of apology or compensation, when I tried telling her it was wrong she argued with me about it. I just wanted to order my food again. I won’t be going back here anytime soon.

I hate that I even have to write a negative review, as I have been coming to Brownstones (specifically this location) for years. Up until today I have never had a bad experience. I ordered online and received something completely different in place of my food item. I figure it must have been a mistake, so I called thinking it's an easy fix, especially since I work in the food service industry myself. When I called, I was answered by a hostess who passed the phone off to their manager. Let me just say, not the most pleasant of people. I was told that I was given this item because they didn't have what I ordered. Now this usually wouldn't be an issue, but there was no warning given ahead of time. Hey Brownstones, you don't get to make that decision for me. There was absolutely no solution given. Instead I was just essentially told to get over it and the manager scoffed at me. Extremely professional. Zero accountability taken. Really upsetting because again, I have been coming here for years.

Beware of the new CHICKWICH sandwich. They use thighs!! Never heard of a chicken sandwich using thighs before. Always white meat chicken breast. Luke warm fries.
