been waiting to try this place for YEARS since i first heard abt it. its like an elevated chipotle bowl LOL. solid meal and huge portions.I got the fat boys barbacoa and my friend got the hawaiian. Mine was lacking a little sauce so was a bit dry but overall, enjoyable anyways. My friend’s shrimp was so good. Might come back to try their shrimp + fish tacos.

Good food with generous portions and friendly staff. The owner, Tony, is extremely hospitable which made the experience even better. The place was extremely busy with guests dining in and ordering takeout, which goes to show this place is definitely worthwhile.

Was looking forward to trying this place out. I went to the East Northport New York location on 3/1/24.I spent $70 on food. I ordered at the counter and to my amazement,my takeout food was done in like 10 minutes. I was pretty amazed how quickly I got my food until we started eating and realized everything was cold.the food was not even room temperature but actually cold.the Birria tacos look like they’ve been sitting on the counter all day.they were disgusting. It was all young folks working in the restaurant .I’m assuming these kids prepared everything way ahead and let it sit so they don’t have to do any work. They should have some adult supervision to keep an eye on how the food is prepared and to make sure it’s done right.I was so disappointed that I doubt I’ll ever go back. I really wanted to go back and take my tip out of the tip jar. at least at chipotle the food is hot. they claim to be the best burritos in town. I can’t imagine in the slightest that this is accurate. I certainly hope anyone who reads this review has better luck than we did. it looks like the franchise started back in 2010.I can’t imagine it holding a following and staying in business if this continues. maybe we caught them on an off day, but when you’re in the service industry, you really should be consistent. people are spending their hard earned money to support them and in return they expect a quality product.

This was our first time at Fat Boys Burritos.The service is EXCELLENT. The staff really cares about the customer experience and it shows. The food came quickly, fresh and delicious! This is our new favorite place. My wife is a pescatarian, so the fish and shrimp options are awesome. Highly recommend!
