Filetto's East Northport

From the second I walked in… the food looked amazing on the counter I wanted to taste everything..I loved the fact that they have rice balls with or without meat. They tasted incredible!! I ordered the shrimp Monachina it was delicious! My boring brother ordered a Sicilian slice but he swears if that’s good everything else will be great. Well he loved it and we ordered a pie to go. Looking forward to going back!!

Update : The fact that ownership reached out and offered to make it right counts for a lot. I'll try them again as everyone has an off night. Raising rating for now and will edit when we try them again. We ordered a plain pie with mushrooms on it via slice. For reference, a pie costs 23 dollars and a topping is essentially 4 dollars. As you can see from the photo, this is apparently what the store thinks is a fair amount of topping for 4 dollars. Buyer beware.

A gem in the heart of East Northport! The sauce is just right and the meatballs are to die for! Service is fabulous with smiles and courteous efficiency. There is live music on weekends, delicious cocktails and comfortable seating. Definitely worth a trip !+

Amazing experience. I was in a party of 20 and everyone was so nice and accommodating to our party. Our food came out so quickly and did not disappoint. Our whole party loved the bar and all the options for cocktails. Our servers were friendly and helped elevate the experience.

Disappointed In Their Slow Service and Lack of dedication to our party. We came early before a local show and they had good intentions, but didn't deliver. They ignored our group and Didn't help us get out quickly, as promised. Our waitress walked past us a number of times to help other tables before taking care of our party. We will Not return.

They have great pizza and Hero’s . Not crazy about many Entrees. Alfredo with Chicken was not very good and Chicken Franchise wasn’t not that good. Yes I have tried it more then once thinking maybe it was an off night but that wasn’t the case. Pizza, Hero’s and salads are great though.

Margarita pizza:

- favorite pizza dough is just flour, water, salt, and yeast - this had a touch of oil in it I believe. Overall still good, thin, and adequately cooked. Was quite floppy in the middle though, which to be fair, may be related to being thrown into a box right after cooking.

Cheese: 4.5/5 good fresh moz with, I think, a little low moisture moz as well which I appreciated. Good amount and adequately cooked with nice coloring.

Other: right amount of basil and a touch of dried herbs to add flavor.

Constructive criticism: While they advertise brick oven pizza, mine was cooked in a commercial oven. I think they did throw it into their brick oven for a minute at the end, but definitely would prefer it a bit longer with the wood fire to get that charred taste. Also might help the floppy crust.

Overall enjoyable, better than average in the area, and I will likely return.
