I cant say enough great things about what Matt and his staff did for me recently in my backyard. I threw a 30th birthday for my son. Matt and Angelo showed up and showed out! The raw bar was tremendous and the catered food was simply delicious! If your looking for a catered affair that can be customized, look no further the J & M seafood.

I really want to love this place and support a local business. However, paid $25 per pound for black seas bass “filets”. When I went to cook them for a New Year’s dinner party, found they were filled with bones- every single piece. Also, not properly cleaned- still had patches of scales. If you’re going to sell filets and charge top dollar, fine, but do it right. I Really don’t want to give my money to Whole Foods, but if they’re providing a better product, what choice is there?

Been going to these guys since day one. Local people supporting local baymen ? Nice, helpful staff and always willing to find what I'm looking for. The new kitchen is awesome. Always delish and stocked to the gills. I'm here at least once a week and I've reccomended J&M to dozens of people who have traveled as far from Queens just for their quality and service. My gotos are the clams/oysters, sushi grade tuna and fresh salmon (when in season!) Don't be misled by competitors! Do your research ppl! Eat Fish and support local a business that support local fisherman!

J&M is the best seafood market around. It has intimate customer service and the staff has a giant knowledge base of the local seafood. Every time I’m in there they offer the best advice on how to prepare the fish. Everything has been extremely fresh and the store is clean which is very important to me. Not only do they have an awesome selection of fresh local seafood, but their prepared food is out of this world. Look no further for a one stop shop for your seafood needs if you are in the vicinity of the market. Second to none! Thank you J&M!
